This is something viewers should appreciate. Each episode doesn't need to be action and sex packed to be good. It is story telling. In stories there are necessary lulls to build plot and to get to know the characters and their emotions and intentions. This is where the writing and acting goes.

I think Tyrion and Danaerys will eventually meet in the books as well but not in this way.

In the books, the Hardhome Battle was off-screen and Jon Snow wasn't involved. So I think this change from the books actually improves on it.

The High Septon has the strongest armed force in King's Landing - the Faith Militant - of which Lancel is a member. This renegade religious force was banned during the long Targaryen dynasty but Cersei, not the brightest of cats, restored it to power thinking she could control the High Septon.

With Tywin and Tyrion gone and with the mines of Casterly Rock all dried up, the Lannisters are a spent force.

HS answers to no one as how he explained it to the Queen of Thornes. Cersei's predicament is her own undoing from her scheming. Besides, Little Finger still has a stake in Cersei for his ambition to be the keeper of the north against the Boltons.

Si LF ang nagbigay ng intel kay QT at tsinismis kay HS. Kaya si QC ay dumidila na ngayon sa sahig. Yung stake nya sa north ay malabo kung nakakulong si QC.

Bakit nga pala si Lancel hindi nakakulong eh sya ang kalaguyo ni QC?

Oo nga no, forgot about LF's gift to the QT. Still maintains that LF has no connection with the HS. What I do admire about LF is he knows how and when to play his cards right.

Cersei was arrested based on Lancel Lannister's word. Littlefinger and Lady Olena had nothing to do with it as far as I recall. Remember it was Lancel, on Cersei's instructions - that got Robert killed by serving strong wine while the king was hunting that giant boar. He knows most of his cousin's secrets.

And yes the High Septon answers to no one. He appears to be a true devotee of the Seven (gods). There's rumors floating around that the HS is actually the Mystery Knight that fought during the Harrenhal tourney years before, which means he is a crannogman (same tribe as Jojen and Meera Reed) and loyal to the Starks.

^ Parang love ni Lancel si QC. Hindi nya kayang mag isa lang na magsumbong kaya sa tingin ko na udyukan ni LF at QT si Lancel. Dapat kasi nung umpisa palang ng mabigyan ng arms ang FM, si QC na agad ang kinulong.

LF is loyal to Starks. He loves Lady Catelyn so much. He is protecting Lady Sansa. He wants to be Warden of the North. Is this coincedence with HS?

LF is not loyal to anyone, only to himself. Remember he betrayed Ned Stark during the power struggle to succeed King Robert. He actually dislikes the Starks, getting wounded in a duel with Ned's older brother Brandon over the hand of Catelyn (who married Ned instead after Brandon was executed by the Mad King).
