Apparently, the Three-Eyed Raven also has a Valyrian sword called Dark Sister which is now in the possession of Bran and Meera. Needle apparently is also made of Valyrian steel.

They looked way outnumbered. It's probably quicker to produce whights. Then there is the issue of dragon glass supply. Plus this idea was thrown out there in net discussions. Perhaps there are only a handful of people who can kill the white walkers with dragon glass.

I have not read the books.

How about the flame that Benjen is using to kill off the white walkers.

I don't read the books too. Benjen's appearance isn't mind blowing to me. I'll just have to wait and see.

Don't know about the Three-Eyed Raven having a sword but Needle I'm sure isn't Valyrian.  It was a gift by Jon to Arya, made in Winterfell.

Got curious. The three eyed raven is a targaryen, Brynden Rivers, bastard of Aegon IV, has been lord commander of the night watch.

I may have missed it but I haven't seen the "Dark Sister" sword handed to bran on the TV show. The book said that the sword was lost during the Blackfyre Rebellion. As for Arya's "Needle" it was said that it was made from Castle-forged steel by Mikken blacksmith of Winterfell, I doubt it's Valyrian steel but who knows this series is full of twists  ;D

Look at the right side of Bran. That's a sword. Some people think that's Dark Sister.

The sword of Ned Stark and later Robb was melted and reforged by Tywin. One was the Oathkeeper, given to Jamie then to Brienne while the other one was given to Joffrey... tama ba? So it should now be with Tommen.
