I have an old dv-600av that used to be connected to an old crt tv using rca cables. I just got a new samsung lcd and decided to connect via an hdmi cable. There was no output. I exchanged cables with my other home theatre but it didn't work. I then connected the player to the toshiba lcd but still can't output via hdmi. Connecting via rca works on both lcd tvs. The hdmi light on the player also lits up but the tvs can't detect an hdmi signal.
This is the first time I connected this player via hdmi since I purchased it. I scanned the player manual but can't find anything to make it work. Should I bring this to the service center or am I missing something? Should it be a pioneer authorized service center or will any tv repair shop do?
TIA
