@ricky,  sir. tama ka. modded na yun player. kaya meron price difference.

i believe sa US, yun region free oppo sells for almost 600 USD. factor in shipping and taxes,  it will cost more than the selling price here. furthermore,  meron local warranty.  maraming region B blurays that cost lower in Amazon UK. so worth it to have a region free player.

as for the ISO files, the latest beta firmware disables the playback. kaya ako, di pa nag-update (mine can still play the ISOs).  ;D ;D ;D. this has to do with licensing. meron daw mga hollywood studios that protested it.

video and audio quality is great.  dapat maganda rin yun TV / projector and audio set-up to maximize its potential. for me, the comparison was with my LG BD660 and PS3. kita yun difference when i used the oppo.

Thanks for the info...

Is this player capable in playing lossless, detecting large USB drives? at least 2 tb sana kaya?

Yup can read 2tb thru USB or esata 8) ang Hindi Lang gumana is yung files from framestor , nag hang sya sa loud scenes ??? Medyo mabagal nga Lang reading and loading compared to nmts pero pwede na din Kung added feature Lang naman sya. Also yun wmv Hindi din mag play unsupported :( :( :( yun pa naman yun xwmen ko ;D

Mga dre,

got the bdp 93..its great for movies considering there are 2 output ng hdmi...as for audio cant say much, tried SACD and other XRCD parang ordinary cd player lang...cant say anything about the 95 with the upgrade board...for me, better get a dedicated cd player for audio...kahit ano pang sabihin nila mahirap pag samahin audio and video....

btw, i ordered the upgrade NF extreme board for the BDP 93 tignan natin kung meron ngang difference, yun bdp 95 extreme stop production na daw, I was talking to OPPO service last night, nag concentrate sila BDP 93 with two DIY upgradable boards to choose from... :)  :)  :)

Hi bro, what connection did you use? Try all sana to compare, ako I'm happy with the multi channel option, iba yung dating talaga compared to coax and toslink :)

That's also my suggestion to other clients wanting to get the 95, told them better and cheap to get hybrid or tube powered dedicated cd player instead. ;)

sir, though medyo OT pero anong system gamit mo (amp + speakers)?
satisfied naman ako sa BD93 using two channel connected to my tube amp and vintage speakers.
