Watched Scent of a Woman (DVD) with my wife last night. Great movie except that the copy I got was grainy and with scenes too bright (washed out color?). Was this originally intended? For those who have it, how's the bluray copy?

Thanks. If the bluray is good, I might get one to replace my DVD copy.

The Cube- sci-fi thriller, best part when the guy enters the room where he got sliced up into bits of cubes coz of the line wire trap like, it must have been very sharp!

I finished the season 1 dvd of Avatar, the last airbender:

Great story line, very solid characterizations. I like the phases and changes of growing for each of the main characters.

The second season looks promising based on reviews - I'll go look if this is available locally.

Resident Evil Apocalypse

Watched this for the 2nd time. I still like this the most among in the RE series. Great kick ass action. I love Valentine along side Alice. And Nemesis is a pretty cool villain. The DVD presents outstanding PQ and awesome, awesome sound! Great demo for your HT equipment.

it was a long weekend so had the chance to watch a few movies:

*THE NEXT 3 DAYS-Russel Crowe, I watch it on BD but my wife would like to watch it our room so had to play the DVD disc.
*ALL THE KING's MEN- Sean Penn
*MEGAMIND-another rewatch from BD to DVD in the kids room, fun animated movie more or less like "the incredibles" but the other way around. The bad guy being the hero

Shooter - One of my guilty pleasures, fun to watch and requires very little thinking. Good action, Ok acting, decent enough cinematography and Kate Mara & Rhona Mitra are nice to look at

although somewhat dated yung mga effects and yung mga MIG nila eh halatang mga american F-5 hehehe.. nice effort though sa aerial photography and choreography nila.. to think na di pa masyado laganap ang CGI noon...
