INSIDIOUS- Wide screen (but its not in 2.40:1 aspect ratio), stereo which is fine and It got subtitles. And oh yeah, its from Viva.

Star Wars Episode 2 : Attack of the Clones

-the romantic installment of the saga. Mushy part but preparing viewers of Anakins interest of the Dark Side. Hayden Christiansen could have acted better. Lousy delivery of his dialogues. The speeder chase was exhilirating. The Dooku-Yoda light saber fight funny.

Loved the water world scenes with the battle with Jango Fett.

Actually I watched this movie years ago but this watch was like the first time. Enjoyed it immensely.

Star Wars Episode 3 : Revenge of the Sith

-lots of dogfight scenes from the start. The surround sound and LFEs were just enjoyable. The gladiator arena was fun to watch. I pity Yoda feeling defeated after The Jedis were massacred. Turning point : Anakin finally ended up in the Dark Side. End of the prequel.

I didn't find this installment memorable when I watched it before but seeing it again made more sense to the overall picture.

Bad Teacher

-Cameron Diaz was still trying hard to be one hot chick but age is catching up on her face seen in the close ups. This is one movie that showed that the rotten bitch wins over the good.

Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope

-watching this brought me back to my Betamax days. Special effects of SW was really superb during that time but watching the prequel first made me observe how SFX technology have advanced through the years. First time I've watched this movie after watching Episodes 1-3 first and it had a different impact on my appreciation of the movie.

Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back

-One of the best in the Saga. With Han Solo now as a major character with a developing love story with Princess Leia while Luke meets Yoda and goes on with his training as a Jedi Master. Loved the Imperial Walker battle at Hoth and until now still entertains me. I just noticed the added very nice CGI background scenery specially in the Cloud City. Loved it....on to the last installment....

Clive Owen gets money squeezed with Jennifer Aniston who turned out to be part of a scam.

He got smart, trails and whacks everyone, got the money back and gets away with it in the end.

Star Wars Episode 6: The Return of the Jedi

-the last chapter of the saga. I just couldn't accept that the fall of the empire and defeat was contributed by those small furry creatures. The wookies could've presented a better battle being more of the fighter type. The speeder bikes made me dizzy! It was a good watch but could've been made better to end Star Wars.

Horrible Bosses

-a hilarious movie where 3 friends Nick (Jason Bateman), Kurt (Jason Sudeikis who by the way looks a lot like Kiefer Sutherland without the beard) and Dale (Charlie Day) wanted to kill their bosses who are just using their positions to make a living hell out of them. The movie was just so funny. Jennifer Aniston as Dale's boss dentist was just so hot in this movie. Kevin Spacey as Nick's powertripping boss was just the perfect choice for a control freak boss. Collin Farrell which you wouldn't recognize at first was Kurt's good for nothing boss. The concept was interesting enough but the execution by the wonderful cast makes this a keeper. Highly recommended!

The Cable Guy

-what will you do in a situation where a cable guy who started out as being friendly becomes too friendly until he becomes a stalker and ruins your life? Directed by Ben Stiller, this is the darkest comedy of Jim Carrey. It's either you love him or extremely hate him. Add that annoying lisp that you just want to kill him. After watching an aged Carrey in Mr. Popper's Penguins, I wanted to see him in one of his early movies. I just noticed the THX entertainment system funny with just 2 huge front speakers with multiple drivers...no surround speakers. Maybe that time, that was THE HOMETHEATER!

This is not a movie you want to watch over and over again unless you are an avid fan of Carrey!
