Grave Encounters-Grave Encounters is a reality TV show that explores places with paranormal activity hoping to get some footage of such enounters. In this episode, the ghost hunters featured the abandoned Collingwood Psychiatric Hospital, a facility with a history where experimental procedures were done to the patients. At the present day, numerous sightings and unexplained phenomena haunt the halls and perimeter of the facility. The crew voluntarily had themselves locked inside for the night with all the advanced ghost searching/documenting equipment. As the night ensued, they find themselves being the victims of the ghostly inhabitants of the Hospital.
The movie is in the likes of Paranormal Activity, Apollo 18, Blair Witch, The Tunnel, etc. I watched this expecting something new in this genre. The start was somewhat stereotypical with interviews with the caretaker, etc. The psychic looked like some amateur fake weirdo. As the movie continued, it became creepy somehow reminded me of House in Haunted Hill. Didn't like the ending though, with Lance still in his sane mind to sign out. Duhh...
If it is the first time you watched this kind of movie, it might give you the scare. I watched numerous films of this genre so it is nothing new except that rat eating scene that grossed me out!
