That's my Boy (2012)- Donny (Adam Sandler) was a hit during high school when he had a sexual affair with a hot teacher who eventually got pregnant.  For sometime the teacher got jail time.  When Donny's son, Han Solo, got older and is about to get married, Donny (who is still stuck in his juvenile ways) suddenly appears in the wedding prep introducing himself as Han's long lost best friend. Donny makes some boo boos in the prep and in the wedding until the truth is revealed.

I love Adam Sandler but lately his movies are of bad taste.  A lot of vulgarity, sexualism and toilet humor are present in his movies which might be a big disappointment for the fans.  The movie could be funny or offensive depending on how you see it.  ;)

Premium Rush (2012)-  Being a bike messenger in Manhattan could give you that adrenaline rush specially for that special package.  Plenty of action..YES...as the title implies.  And of course, Jamie Chung made the day.  ;D

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012)- What would you do in the last few days when news of an asteroid is about to hit earth annihilating everyone? Dodge (Steve Carrell) left by his wife gone berzerk when news of an asteroid will hit the earth in 3 weeks.  Dodge made friends with a neighbor Penny (Keira Knightly)whom he haven't talked to really. Together they drove off...Dodge made communications with a high school sweetheart and Penny reunites with her family.

There weren't any LOL scenes here. I just find it funny how other people would react to the situation---party till the end or suicide?  This movie would sometimes make you smile or make you realize...what if?

The Campaign (2012)-  Looking past his vulgarities and obscenities, I just love Will Farrell.

The thing I had hoped for this movie was that the sex scenes with the teacher were more graphic because that actress is totally sizzling.  She's the voluptuous daughter of Susan Sarandon right?

That's my Boy (2012)-

Expendables 2 (2012)- forget about the lousy plot and acting.  This is a movie that gathered some big names (Stallone, Statham, Jet Li, Chuck Norris, Lundgren), placed a lot of action and explosions and hoped for a Box Office Hit.  :P

Amphibious Creature of the Deep (2012) - i knew what was coming just reading the title.  A marine expedition which has gone awry by the presence of a....giant scorpion!  Made me think...are they really amphibians? Duh! The CGI was bad typical of a low budget movie...reminding me of the original Clash of the Titans. It could pass for a scary creature movie for 4 year olds. A perfect dozer for me.

Flight (2012)- the first part where the plane crashes was a good work out for both the surrounds and LFEs of your HT.  But the movie doesn't center on the crash itself but the drama that transpired after.  Was it a plane or pilot malfunction? This really brings out Denzel's acting as a drunk and junkie pilot.  Inspite of his skill to bring a crashing plane down with minimal casualties, his lifestyle was a big question.  Enter Don Cheadle as his lawyer and John Goodman as the junkie friend.  The movie carries a speculative drama to an end with a twist.

With the direction of Robert Zemeckis with superlative acting of Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, Bruce Greenwood, Kelly Reilly and John Goodman as the amusing junkie friend makes this movie a masterpiece.   Never knew a dose of cocaine could jolt you out of drunkenness.  :o

X-men (2000)- movies that are comic adaptations expect a lot of criticisms specially from comic book fans.  Bring in some big name actors and a whopping budget and there you have it.  Amazingly the movie is entertaining and well accepted.  Hugh Jackman as Wolverine carries the show.
