Where can i find a cheap but stable Projector mount/bracket? My projector is less than 3 kilos in weight

and what can you recommend on mounting it, how far from the ceiling and behind wall (for ventilation purposes)?

use the online projector calculator for proper distance and level setup. 1 foot clearance around the unit is more than enough for ventilation. congrats sa pj!

Muntik na akong bumuli sa cdr-king kung di ko lang nagawan ng praktikal solusyon

Palagay ko kaya ng cdr-king bracket yan. Ang pj mo ba may kasamang back-up cable? If so, ok yan. Maglagay ka ng hook rekta sa kisame or anyting basta matibay na sasabitan mo ng cable. Try mo muna bitinan ng more than the weight of your pj, wag lang ikaw.

This way bumigay man ang bracket, si pj ay maiiwang nakasabit. hth

yung sinasabi kong praktikal solution, dati ko na kasing ginawan ng hanging shelf si ax200 at akala ko di ko na magagamit kasi inatras ko ang pj at tutal kako updside down naman so pwede na ang bracket para simple tingnan at lagusan lang ang hangin. kaso kasya naman pala sa likod kaya nagamit ko pa rin ang hanging shelf. praktikal di ba? hehe... di na ako gumastos. bulky man pero protected ang pj sa sagi at untog. di baleng magkabukol ang ulo wag lang masira ang pj. tama?

From a DIY box type ceiling mounted housing of the PJ, i changed that with that 880 pesos CDRKing metal ceiling mount. The metal ceiling mount is aesthetically better than my box. However, i noticed that the PJ is now affected by vibrations from the ceiling, which i did not observe when using the DIY box type housing. Pansin ko, nanginginig din yung video.

I may go back again to using the box type housing if i cannot solve the problem.

Yup bro -- the entire housing which was the size of the length and width of my projecter was screwed heavily on the ceiling so it was really very sturdy. In fact there was a time that i even placed there my bluray and my dvd players because i could not find a long HDMI. At that time i never noticed any trembling motion from the PJ even when i watch movies on high volume.

Now with the ceiling mount, the trembling motion of the image is very evident especially when the menu screen is flashed on the screen.

I may try resolving this by shortening the length of the metal hanger that holds the pj by about 8 to 10 inches and if the trembling motion of the image will still be obvious, i may have to re install the box housing of the pj.

That's the reason why i decided to wall mount may projector... baka kasi umalog especially kung may mga explosions ang movies....dahil kutipot ako para maka tipid ang ginamit ko eh stand ng standfan

Gamit ko din sakin yung sa cdrking P880 lang. Maalog nga yung projector pag naglalaro sa itaas namin mga anak ko, pero pag mga blast scenes sa movie wala namang shaking. Adjustable yung brackets para matapat sa holes ng PJ pero papagawa ako ng custom bracket baka kasi bumitaw mga screws pag tagal tapos balak ko din lagyan ng wrap-around magic tie( ?nga ba tawag dun? ) matibay kaya yun brader praktikal?

Same reason din kung bakit ako nag wall mount. Wood ang ceiling ko. I used sabre universal PJ mount. pero yun mga butas ng PJ ko, hindi universal.

So i had to strap the PJ on a wooden platform and painted the platform white and screwed the PJ mounts onto the wooden platform.

How about projector screen mounting naman mga brader... wala pa kasi ako balak bumili ng bago and balak ko gamitin na lang yung 70x70 tripod stand na screen... here's what im planning to do... i'm going to remove the screen from its tirpod tapos isasabit ko sa ceiling kung saan nakalagay ang tv ko pero medyo forwarded ng konti para di malaglagan ang tv ko just in case, hehehe and then kapag nakasabit na sya, hihilahin ko na lang pababa yung screen from its compartment then sabit somewhere sa baba (maglalagay ako ng hook siguro)... ok kaya ganitong setup? di ko kasi pwedeng i-mount sa wall kasi matatakpan ng 42" na tv yung screen pag ganun ginawa ko... Mayroon ba sa inyo na may ganitong setup?

Ceiling mounted sa akin. And since 3/8" lang yun plywood ng ceiling ko, delikadong magrely sa 2 screw mounting lang. I bought a slotted angle bar and bolted the PJ screen duon. Pero before bolting it, i screwed

the slotted angle bar sa ceiling almost every 10 inches. That gave me a chance na tamaan ang 3 "pamakuan" ng ceiling making the PJ screen very stable and malakas ang kapit sa ceiling maski yun mga ibang scews, sa 3/8" plywood lang tumama. I also painted the slotted angle bar black para hindi kita. next project ko paglipat ng house and pagtapos ng warranty period ng PJ screen, i will paint the PJ screen casing making the casing blend with the interior. Pwede din discreet mounting either by flush mounting the casing inside your ceiling or making a valance out of wood or anything that would hide the casing.

Anyone know where I can buy something like this? A wall-type projector mount, not ceiling. Preferably with a long neck since the projector will need to be around 30-35 inches away from the wall.
