YPAO-out of phase?
« on: Jan 13, 2011 at 03:48 PM »
first time to run this and using aaudio genesis. lagi na lang out of phase yung front L&R speakers.
saw a similar issue in aaudio thread, binaligtad lang polarity. ayun ok na.
my question should i leave it as is (change polarity) and make ypao happy?
or balik ko ulit sa tama, as in + + and --
advise mga sirs?

Make sure your wirings are correct.  You can also test phase with a calibration disc to make sure that the speakers are also correctly wired internally, although that's unlikely.

If phase is confirmed correct, then the out-of-phase message is probably an error and should be ignored.

Don't worry, out-of-phase message errors are common even for Audyssey.
