default cuts fine.
I have LG LED - I set the AVMODE at cinema presets esp. movies with high contrast, but best set at off presets if its mostly heavy on the blacks. ENERGYSAVER mode = minimal for movies with high contrast.

checked the site below, seems wala.
Will review tonight and ask egreat. will keep you posted

S7A and S100/S800 are all coverart (apart from the file list and preview) displaying the folder as about.jpg or folder.jpg, which ever is present in each folder.

you can toggle the display from coverart, list, preview etc.

Personally, while ok ang coverart, i prefer lists, see snapshots here

user friendly ang dating .

I checked the site and it just generates pictures per movie.

so if nakacoverart na pala si S7A, hmmm seems possible.

ok sana yung with summary , plot.

oo nga, i guess, ganda lang sa S-series interface malaki yung picture as below, so readable at the same time navigate mo yung folders.

R200 has simpler menu, just a list and you have to open the about.jpg in pictures instead of coverart. meron siyang preview ng film each time you navigate.

running thumbgens on my disks, try ko weekend.
i used yung thumbgen. I think yung cover ng disk ok ang ratio, pero to previous the synopsis page (about.jpg), di ko pa sure if kaya na tama aspect.

I'll check if theres a way to review the layout kasi default is 1280 x 7xxx and default in thumb gen

Di lang mabilis, suave ang scroll ng graphics, which is what i hate about my Himedia, nasanay lang talaga ako sa Sigma siguro.

I think plot/Summary dapat sa list view niya, isip ko ganito:

thumbgen, by default the size is 1280x7xx (landscape oriented). Checked thumbgen template via XML and made the about.jpg portrait view. so bagay siya sa taas na interface ni S-xxx:)

And oh... this r200 does support DTSHD MA passthru to DTS core via optical. finally!

You tested it? What's your AVR sir? Can you also check what;s your Firmware, juct wanna check if we are same. I was unsuccessful getting DTS core from any DTS HD/MA material that's why i'm asking..

yup it's an old school non-hdmi yamaha htr-5130. FW for r200 is 1.0.5.39, i think. because egreat doesn't have a new FW update for a long time now. I tested it on 5 dtshd mkvs and it's now showing DTS on the AVR. My Xtreamer SW can't support the passthru. unfortunately, i dont have truehd mkvs to test from that's why i don't know yet if r200 supports it. but bro stickfighter has already tested it on his review and claimed that it did support both HD audio. hth.

Sir if you dont mind can you send me a screenshot of the file being played with the info on on the r200 so i know the details of the file while playing?. Just press the info button and it will show on the screen then take a picture of it. I've been trying to resolve this issue on both of my r200.

R200 is one of the best NMT IMHO...Build, PQ and SQ wise

Kaya ba neto BD menu or just the S series? I need a player kasi that can use internal 3.5 HD to minimize clutter at bawas na din sa mata kumander.

Napapansin kasi ni misis dumadami na yung BDs, dumadami pa din ang mga hard drives.

BD.iso DVD.iso playback lang, walang BD full menu si R-200.
Bd full menu navigation is only sa S-series(S800 and S100)

Kaso brother yung S100 hindi pwede internal diba? That was my choice initially until the HDs and the BDs started catching her eye kaya I'm changing to an NMT that can handle an internal HD. Isip-isip...

Hi Tsip,

You would actually save money and space in the long run if you invest on a Sigma player that is capable of full BD Navigation. Trust me once you see what these Sigmas are capable of doing, tatabang ang mga Realtek. I truly love my Mede8er but kulang na sya talaga sa asin with all those pure BDs getting released as fast as compressed MKVs...hehehe

Why don't you like a dock? It's very cool and functional and the back wires can be easily concealed. And it's so easy to swap hard drives tapos best of all, it's the safest (and arguably the most reliable) way to connect an HDD to an NMT. Kita mo ako never nabuburahan ng data at all. Cheers
