my H1073 failed at playing mg TF Armada, Cybertron, and Energon series. played the files with pixelation and distorted images. no problems with sound though. standard definitions lang mga to.

Your TV doesn't support it so stick to 720p 60hz

24p is a framerate that closely matches film, a TV that support 24p will have the least issues with judder/stutter during playback of BD.

Help me naman.. I want to buy this Kaiboer h1055+. I have a Panasonic LCD TV Xseries. I have Panasonic HT SC-PT85 Model (AVI and Divx files capable. Has an upscaling features). Ask ko lang sana kung possible i OUT ung audio nya sa HT ko using RCA cable? Ung maeenjoy ko ung 5.1 DTS nya and HD Surrounds.
Plan ko kasi ganito set up..

Kaiboer H1055 HDMI  LCD TV
Kaiboer H1055 RCA  HT

Sadly hindi po lalabas ang 5.1. Kasi Stereo input lang ang meron sa SC-PT85. So stereo sound lang (2.1 at best).

Thank you.. Sir, wala other way para ma attain ung 5.1? kasi sa specs ng SC-PT85 meron cyang 1 digital input. what does it mean?

I think you have to find a different NMT that has a port similar to the digital in on your SC-PT85. Malamang optical yan pero di ako sigurado

I don't see anything about optical in available on this unit. It only supports 2 channel aux in.

HDMI, Optical and Coax cable from the media player can send 5.1 signals however it should be connected to an a/v receiver/amplifier that could decode these signals (either DTS or AC3 formats). The receiver (with the built in decoders) will process the signals out to the 5 speakers (Left-Right-Center-LSurround-RSurround) plus the LFS or subwoofer. Use of the HDMI connections will provide a better set-up because it can carry not only video but audio signals as well.

or baka may alam kayo dyan na NMT na pede sa HT ko?? sir SC-PT85 po un. ndi SC-PT55... thnx

sir, yung SC-PT85 mo ang may limitation, hindi NMT. Walang NMT ang puwedeng magbato nang 5.1 sa analog stereo input nang SC-PT85.

Try to sell the SC-PT85, and upgrade to an HTIB with a digital audio input (whether toslink, coax, or HDMI).

My SC-PT75 has an Optical digital in, check yours... I think the problem is the 1055 doesnt have optical out, only coaxial out which the PT85 doesnt have..

hi i came to the other topics in this site. very helpful tlga. there are other NMTs pala na pede ko pag pilian. himedia 200B, or ung kaiboer 1073+. my mga optical din. nsa icp ko kasi, standard ng lahat ng NMTs na thru coaxial ang out nila.. now i know. thank you all.. thank you pinoydvd.

I tried downloading the manual to check it out but failed. As I read the specs of the sc-pt75 , it has built in both ac3 and dts decoders however, I agree with "courage" that probably the problem lies on the absence of an optical (toslink) output on the H1055. That is also the reason why I opted to try the HIMEDIA HD200B (2.7k at digitag) because it has the same chipset as the H1055 but has both optical and coax spdif audio output and a top navigational control buttons which is good even in the absence of the remote. BTW I also own an H1055 and an xtreamer sw. so me pag-asa ka pa siguro!

If you don't have it yet, try using a "Y" USB cable to augment the 5v requirement.

hi sir just saw what a usb y cable is. for my enclosure kasi the socket on the enclosure is not the usual socket on the usb 2.0, its a bit larger. does this have a y usb also?

also may dc power naman si enclosure, kulang pa kaya cya in terms of power?

Does your PC detect your hard drive? Does the enclosure comes with a driver?

Bought mine for P80 at Electronics Boutique 3rd flr Festival Mall, Muntinlupa city. Insert 2 y ends to the Kaiboer and one end to the USB HD. Out of stock at CDRKing. No need for a Y cable if your enclosure is powered; i.e. w/ own power supply!

Finally able to burn-in my H1055 after 48hrs.. So here are my minor issues.

~~1. Movie bookmark are not saved after power-off.~~ --> this is actually working..
2. It would be better if the HDMI Audio has "OFF" option, because all 3 options are able to stream audio to the TV. Since im using the Coax, hassle minsan i still have to check the TV and put into Mute. Sound from TV messing up my AVR output.
3. My LG LD460 is really impacted by the remote control issue. So many keys mis-mapped, conflicting to my TV.. (though i was able to talk with seller, he will provide me the "white remote" next week.. as solution posted on Digitag page).
4. Movie and Audio playlist management would be better if we can manually "Add" items on it. Based on my knowledge, the Movie/Audio playlist is only populated by the "AUTO-SCAN" function,, which creates lots of unwanted playlist.

OVERALL--> this is totally a value-for-money media player. good PQ/SQ, and efficient heat dissipation.

Ordered Kaiboer 1055 plus from Digitag as well. Looks like a promising player with an attractive price tag. Looking forward to play with it when it arrives.

guys, has anyone encountered this problem? --> after continuosly playing 3 HD movies, my audio become distorted. at first i suspected my Amp, but tried the CDP and it sounds normal. I switched the H1055 audio out via HDMI, but same issue, as well as via RCA out. Even playing music can reproduce the same issue. I powered it off, let it rest for an hour and everything went back to normal. After 2 movies, there goes the problem again. so far, the player is well-ventilated naman, and doesnt even feel hot during those times.
