Hi newbie po ako. kaya pag pasensyahan niyo yung question ko! hehe
Can i play directly Western Digital External HD (desktop) to my LGLE5500 without Media player? kasi yung WD passport ko pwede siya directly sa LG ko, kaso 320gb lang kaya bitin! ask ko lang kung pwede mag play yung WD external hd kasi mas mura siya sa passport. balak ko bumili ng 1tb or kung may suggestion kayo patulong naman mga sir! thanks!!

The best way to find out is to borrow a 1tb on a SATA-USB bridge and see if the LG will read that large an hdd and if it will read the various hd movie formats out there.  :)
