The Chicago Code
« on: Mar 03, 2011 at 06:41 AM »
Opening a new thread for the police drama Chicago Code.

I loved the first episode. I was admittedly skeptical because I never really liked Jennifer Beal but the rave reviews intrigued me enough to check it out. I'm glad I did.

I've watched 3 episodes. I find the plot intriguing with a female police boss fighting the city's corrupt officials. Pansin ko na parang mas madami ang mga tv-series lately na female ang lead role (Chase, Fairly Legal, Harry's Law).

Watching the second episode, I finally took notice of the opening theme. I knew from the last line that it was Billy Corgan singing. And apparently, he is! He's contributing music to the series -- which makes sense since he's a Chicago native.

Agree. This is something new -- not the typical cop tv series -- and I like it. Characters are interesting and the plot is different. But I think the plot needs to be a little bit more compelling/engaging.

The thing I like about Blue Blood though is the family (personal) sub-stories (same with Numbers before). There's much more to it than just the crimes they have to solve.

not so bad bad after 10 episodes, watched them 2-3 shows at a time... hope they are right about Gibbon....

i only see 2 main characters and 3 supporting characters in this show, imo better than hawaii 5-0

Does that mean episode 13 is the series ender na? It's all good if it was, at leastthey tied up all the loose ends and didn't just leave things hanging.
