You really have to be patient in manually tunning the channel program. Mahirap talaga.

Got this monitor yesterday from SnS so far so good. Problem ko ngayon is hindi ko mapalusot yung Dolby and DTS signals thru HDMI ng pc.

Setup ko ay:
PC >-HDMI-> Monitor > AVR

Kapag gamit ko yung player ng monitor mismo, wala naman problema. Meron ba sa inyo na kaparehas ko ang setup? Natry ko rin kasi sa LG monitor at wala namang problema.

try mo pc hdmi -> AVR -> LCD TV/Monitor. have no problem w/ any pc hdmi audio

old model na kasi yung AVR ko chief so ang last resort talaga ay i direkta ko nalang yung optical from pc to avr. Mukang matagal ng issue yung hindi pwede magpassthru ng DD or DTS sa PC >HDMI> samsung >optical> avr. Sa lg walang problema yung passthru kaso dolby lang since yun lang licensed sila.

naka sulat sa manual nito DTS 2.0 lang.

manga sir pag bumili ako ng home theater in the box lang nagandahan kasi ako sa lg ht805pm. using this LED tv 40d5000 pag ng play ako ng hdmi ng xbox 360 console using digital optical cable lalabas ba yung 5.1 sounds nya using digital optical cable? sabi kasi brother ko ndi pwede kasi labas lng ng tv ng 40d5000 is 2.1 lang. sabi naman ng mga sales sa mga abenson sm appliance center lalalbas daw using digital optical?

yung DTS 2.0 is a version and not reffering to 2 channel sound.

Ang problema sa mga samsung tv at iba pa base sa mga forums ay hindi allowed ang passthru ng DD or DTS signal meaning "PC or DVD - HDMI Cable - TV - Optical Cable - AVR"

Ang way lang is
PC or DVD - HDMI Cable - AVR with HDMI In - HDMI Cable from HDMI out of the AVR - HDMI In TV

kung may hdmi in and out yang lg hometheater set mo walang problema yan bro. May mga nabasa rin ako sa forums na napagana rin nila yung passthru ng 5.1 audio sa xbox.

Do these models have an "on/off" option for the clear motion rate feature? I've been hearing mix answers on this.

Is it also the same for its LCD brother the UA40D5500? Both of them have the 100hz clear motion rate feature

yes clear motion rate can be turned off on this tv... it's under picture -> advanced options.. hope this clarifies...

share ko lang, nakita ko to kagabi sa SNS, katabi sha nung isang bigger size samsung na HD only plasma tv.

- black colors is black talaga ni UA40D5000 vs sa plasma.

- hindi ko alam ang term - motion blur yata - mas swabe sha tingnan kesa sa plasma nung nagmomove yung camera from left to right for example.

- it looks brighter din and the colors to my eyes look better.

Mejo nagtataka nga ako eh - db dapat tiklop si trumotion pag plasma when it comes to motion blur, pero bat kaya ganun?

need some input guys, i'm planning to buy either the ua37d5000 or the ua40d5000. mainly it would be used for watching tv, tv series (via a media player) and ps3 gaming. is the LED too bright for gaming? or is it okay?

my old lcd tv is a lg scarlet.

Got this unit from SnS. Query lang po. The unit and the Onkyo HT-S5305 can "talk" (hehehe) thru TV's Anynet+. But the problem is when I shut down the TV so goes the Onkyo (when I just want to listen to music). I have an NMT (AC Ryan). Any suggestion on how to go about the connections? And i want to utilize the HDMI out of Onkyo to the TV so i can make full use of Onkyo's features. Please help a newbie. Thank you.
