yes got the non-3D 51" incher... i'm happy with the unit. good features + usb slot that plays most mkv files i have..

^IMO 720p po siya base sa specs ng website ng Samsung. Yung series 5 na plasma ang fullHD

got my 51" plasma from abenson too. 49k 12mos.
cash/straight yung 46k na price.
sarap talaga manood pag malaki tv. I chose this over the 43" plasma 3D na almost same price kasi I don't really like watching 3D and like they say "the bigger the better"

Also got myself one from Abenson SM North Edsa. Much better than my previous 42in LCD. Ok na ok sa bluray.

Sanay ka lang sa 50 at 55 dahil ito ang common...pwede naman maging 52, 53, 54 ang TV size...

have a bad experience with this brand and model PS51D450 to be specific....

ang panget ng tuner local channels nag goghost sabog specially sa fast moving scenes parang nag 3d effect di mapanooran... Ibought mine @ 41k sa ANSONS pero pinapalitan ko ng ibang brand di mapanooran sa local channels sakit sa mata......buti napalitan ko kagad...

aanhin mo naman yun malaki kung di mo mapanooran sa local channels...

or baka naman may defect lang yun nakuha ko...sayang talaga sarap sana 51 incher.....

pero im satisfied naman sa naipalit ko BX400 ng Sony 40" nga lang pwede na basta mapapanuoran naman....

Yung series 5 ang 1080p na model. Medyo double the price nga lang. I have the 51D491 model so far local TV is ok, baka di lang na tweak mabuti. Mag depend din siguro sa cable provider mo, haven't tried of the air though. Meron siyang auto noise reducer pag medyo malabo ang signal, it has a demo inside so you can compare it side by side kung ok yung effect. Pero mag masyadong malakas ang noise reducer medyo nawawalan ng sharpness yung picture.Yeah at this size medyo lalaki talaga ang pixel ng noise which is annoying, kaya keep your distance around 5-6 feet.

May nakapag try na ba ng 1TB external HDD dun sa USB neto? Nabasa ko sa manual na parang hindi supported and USB HDD eh. Salamat!

and yan din iniisip ko.. baka mukhang panget sa cable dahil sa size.. ng tv... hehe

i have an 55"... ang labo din pag sa cable(sobrang labo tignan compared sa older 32" ko).. im planning to get the non 3d... ng tv na ito for my dad...
akala ko... nasa below 50t pa pag.. 1080p.. hehe (umasa)

pag naka LCD na kayo... di na ubra ang local tuner dyan.
you are using a digital equipment and having an analog input is a NO NO

need to shift to HD, or at least SD digital broadcast.
if you can buy 40k+ or even 100k+ TV, why not maximize your viewing by subscribing to a digital format.

yes 1TB works when connected. though some mkv formats are not recognized but generally plays any media i load into it

yun nag goghost sa local channels is not the cable provider, its the tv itself kse kung panget cable provider dapat grainy or malabo lang yun labas pero not ghosting yun parang nag burst shot ka sa camera ganun yun nangyayari parang nadedelay naiiwan yun kaluluwa kapag fast scenes. basta panget di mapanooran.

got my sammy 51 incher last thursday! so far ok naman, pati local channel viewing ok dib wala namang ghosting kahit wala pa kaming cable.. SULIT!

no complaints about my 51d450

plays most MKVs straight off the USB,
PS3 games and Avatar blu-ray looks great.

try not to use basic cable or free tv, it looks horrid even with a Digibox.
go for HD channels like Discovery HD World or History HD, plays great

had to reset and set to Home Use, it was on Store Demo mode kaya bumabalik sa Dynamic after a few minutes. a quick reset and a few clicks and it plays wonderfully.

^Yung sa min Standard din lang. hehe. Pero me sinunod na settings yung kuya ko, nakuha namin sa avforums. Pero parang hindi ganon kalaki yung improvement.

Medyo naiinis ako kasi feeling ko di pa namin namamaximize yung use. Medyo pale yung colors. Do we have to calibrate it to get the most out of it?

Also, when I asked Jonjon of SNS to demo the PIP feature, nagawa naman niya. But when I tried it, hindi na customizable yung PIP. Sa inyo ba?

Okay, I noticed this one just now. I tweaked the settings, turned off the TV for a couple of seconds, then turned it on again. Lo and behold, the picture settings were reset and even the date.

Help.
