im choosing between this tv and the panasonic x30 and lg 350. What would make me go for this tv instead of the two? In SnS, i find this tv more vibrant than the panasonic. Unfortunately the lg was not in display. Im going for the 51 inch.

Is this tv a good buy?

Pros and Cons please.

Do this steps, the reason that you settings are not saved because the tv is on store demo mode. It will reset audio and picture settings every 30 minutes. Change the settings from Store Demo mode to Home Use mode in the Plug & Play procedure. Press the SOURCE button to select TV mode, and go to MENU → System → Plug & Play→ ENTER.  ;)

LOOK here, I saw this same Samsung being sold for a rock-bottom price of P33,000 at eBay by Remal Sales. I reread the eBay description over & over and as per auction rules, Remal would have to sell this TV that affordably "low" because they listed it as a Buy-Now merchandise. I'm tempted to take it but I need to clarify it first if there's any "catch" to the offer. P33K remains steep for me, kung maari lang three gives, but Remal is pushing the D450 for as much as P17,000 less from the other vendors.

NO, I'm not mistaken at all. I saw it for two days last week. Its the 51-inch model at P33,000. When I came to search for it just now, Remal altered the price or has scrapped the former ad altogether and posted a new one for a P43,000. Was it a mistake on Remal's part? Maybe. But if someone did took them seriously and pushed the Buy-It-Now proviso, they'd have trouble fending off the transactee-winning bidder at this moment.

whats the model of your panasonic plasma and how do you find the samsung vs the pana?

im torn between this model, the pana x30 and the lg w350. I need feedbacks to make it easier for me to decide.

lakas rin kse sir sa power consumption kaya i decided to shift to another tv pero tama ka thats a possibility na baka nga black lemon yun nakuha ko chief... ang mura kse kaya ng plasma nato kaya medyo nagduda rin ako nun natest ko sya....

bro PIP function will not work when using the usb as your media player. have tried it too.

luma na yun dating gamit ko, 42pv8 pa  ;D actually yan lg 50w350 and 51d450 lang talaga ang pinagpilian naman namin ng wife ko....lg na sana kunin namin kasi add nalang 7k 3dtv na gamit mo, problem lang with the lg w350 is medyo dark na para sa amin pag naka 3d glasses ka na....sa tingin ko tama nga yun sabi ng iba na kung 3d talaga hanap mo mas maganda kung mag led 3d or lcd 3d ka na talaga...we didn't bother to compare the 50x30 of pana and samsung kasi alam ko naman for sure maraming advantages ang pana....pero considering the price, talagang sulit itong 51d450 ;)

are you happy with your purchase? im thinking, with the 10k difference between the x30 and this model, i could probably just add 10k and get another lcd.

very happy with my purchase, laki kasi talaga difference para sakin coming from a 42 incher to a 51... sa movies and ps3 ok sya...dati kasi pag naglalaro ako ng nba 2k11 hinihila ko pa yun upuan palapit sa tv mga 5-6ft. from tv pero ngayon kahit 8-10 ft. layo ko sa tv ok na...sa after sales service wala naman akong worries kasi sa SnS ko naman binili eh....receiver, speakers and tv ko lahat galing SnS so far wala naman akong hindi magandang experience pagdating sa after sales service...sa price difference sa x30 na 10k, I'm sure kahit less than 10k nalang dagadag mo dami ka nang pagpipilian sa SnS para sa isa pang lcd naman...

eto yung nakita ko sa abensons yung samsung na plasma 3d pero 43 inches lang, medyo pasok kasi sa budget ko e. sa tingin niyo worth it ba to kesa sa led tv na hindi 3d?

A gaming videocard set to 1080P, would a plasma 720p able to produce a presentable display? Is it possible that my desktop display resolution would scale down? and in turn will have large icons and fonts on my screen.

wala naman akong napapansin na image retention when it comes to gaming, I play nba 2k11 2hrs minimum... so far dun sa corner ng tv where the score is displayed lagi ko naman tinitignan after playing and wala naman image retention so far....hindi na yata ganun ka prone ang mga plasmas ngayon sa IR....
