LG HT region problem

I have a bit of a problem, I have an LG 904TA...http://us.gadgetsguru.com/lg-ht-904ta-best-deal-usa-8813.aspx, I unlocked it about a year ago...using the
pause...314159...pause technique, worked fine, I have a lot of R1 DVDs to use it on, now it doesnt play R1 dvds as well as R3, you can hear audio, but no video, I usually watch DVD copies of some TV series, they play ok, no problems whatsoever, I tried to unlock it again, same result.
Any ideas?
Getting pissed, I want to watch some Resident Evil flicks...darn... :-[

looks like a lens issue.  If it's a region locking issue, there will be a clear message saying so.

Try a lens cleaner first, maybe it'll clear it up.

Will do so sir, but when I tried p!rat3d movies, no hiccups whatsoever, it seems as if it is locked on p!rat3d discs!  :(
