Fortunately I was able to grab a copy of Sheena Already & Beastmaster.

While watching the BBC Documentary on Frank Sinatra, the song - "Young at Heart" was in the background. It reminded me of this movie where this song was played, if memory serves me right, at the end.

i doubt if what Rak-Rak saw was a legit region 1 dvd copy.
Anyway the official region 1 Joy Luck Club dvd release will be on 06/04/02!

Rashomon R1 will be released next week by the Criterion Collection. An R3 version has been available in Hong Kong since last year, but the subtitles would probably drive you nuts.

I'm waiting for Belle Epoque (a Spanish comedy starring a very young Penelope Cruz), Flight of Dragons, Fire and Ice, and Shall We Dansu?.

Acctually, I havent see it anywhere kahit na yung boothleg copy kasi parang nakita ko sa dvdempire pero pag-check ko eh wala pala, na confuse ko ito sa House of Spirits na nakita ko doon (fullscreen ver.) thanks bently for correcting me.

The Official release is a welcome news for me kasi hinihintay ko rin ang movie na ito.

The 60s musical bomb Man of La Mancha starring Peter O'Toole. Though it was justly criticized for its ponderous approach and Sophia Loren's non-singing, the material touched me when I was a kid in college. And I saw it on black and white TV as a late night movie. Peter O'Toole still makes a grand case as an idealistic knight fighting a lost cause - and the ending, when Cervantes goes up the Inquisition facing potential torture and execution amidst the cast singing "My Impossible Dream", personally for me it redeems a lot of the rough edges.
