The new subtitles feature allows you to save the font size and location preference daw per movie, have not checked but if it does ok yan esp. for those with subtitle overlayed to the movie itself, you can relocate them

I managed to download and install the latest firmware (R1-II_R100_R160_R180_R200-II_R6A-II_R800_FW_3.4.3.0_20120522.zip) on my R1-II. The subtitle feature of saving font size and location per movie, I think is working. But I was hoping it saved for ALL movies that I play. I keep decreasing the font size kasi eh -- the default is size 20 and I prefer size 13. The location preference is saved for all movies, it seems.

The main menu is changed also -- there is a "Live TV" selection, and if you want to play from the file manager, you have to go to the "Player" option in the main menu.

Can you also ask Egreat if they can save the display choices when you click the menu button and select movies only. I have to do this every time I use the unit.

sir pa PM ng screen shot and describe the most ideal way for you. usually sire, when you press the movie button, it filters it by all movies, does that work for you? alternately coverart mode and postermode is also useful alternative access to your movies.

Sir Jim mayroon na ba tayong R160S ?  If so, how much?  It is exactly the same feature as a known brand but I prefer Egreat for reasons of the personal touch you give to all problems and questions of Egreat users.  I read all your thread on Egreat everyday.

What's available is R160 (on 1185 chip ) which is exactly the same look of the R160S

The R160S is really nice, got to try one pero ubos agad since i only got 2 units special order, its exactly the R6S but in the R160 body and internal disk capable and BD.iso plays.

Help naman guys..

I have an Egreat R180 and I keep getting this pop-up lately: USB plug-in event detected. Would you like to continue?

Even if I select cancel it will just reappear in less than a minute. If you accidentally select OK, it will enter USB OTG mode and you can't get out of that USB OTG mode anymore. You need to turn OFF the device and unplug it from the power source and wait for about a minute before you can return it to its normal mode. I have tried updating the firmware but it is still the same.

set HDMI RAW if via HDMI - output to AVR or TV Speakers
set SPDIF if via optical - output to HT

 if via stereo, Left + Right line out lang

AFAIK, even the Realtek 1073 based Egreat.

dati sir malakas ang sound ko pag thru tv speakers lang ako nanonood. ngayon biglang humina, binalik ko naman yung setting pero mahina pa rin

Bro try mo set yung Night mode sa audio settings to "comfort" when watching movies thru TV speakers..then set to "off" if audio files. You will hear the difference.

I'm currently using R1-II but it works the same way with other NMTs with Realtek chipset.

I'm also getting this error ("USB OTG mode") with my new unit connected to a new Astone usb3.0 hd enclosure. Ano po ba puwede solusyon?
