Hi toys4geeks,

Do you also support buyers of R6A-ii units bought at local Electronics Boutique stores?

You've put me on the spot ha! :) No comment :)  O0

Not to worry, we have a strong user base in this forum that replies like clockwork. That's what's really good about PDVD -- members are willing and able to help out, instead of telling mag back-read ka.

Seriously though, reality creeps in in any biz,  its always about volume to the manufacturer(s), I have and will always be pushing for value over volume coz trust is key to any gear purchase -- its all a personal buy to each of us right? I've always been all for quality service above all else. I make sure local buys will get parts, stocks and firmware support and lean heavily on manufacturer.

(I guess) I'd always give preferential attention to those who get them from me, as I know each of you in our deals.

But, and this is a big but, its not unthinkable that we start to entertain another NMT. Divided attention give room for expansion. The blade works both ways di ba?  O0

Hi toys4geeks,

Am considering this unit, but I need to confirm this before I buy. It seemed that I can't get support for the unit if I buy it elsewhere.

So in that case, please PM me the price of your R6A-ii. And how do I pay and get the unit? I suppose this is somewhere in Metro Manila.

I suppose am not expecting a quote from toys4geeks anymore. Am not planning on buying the R6A-ii unit anymore. I don't think the official eGreat support website is helpful. As there are several posts in there that are unanswered for a long time now. Better check on another brand instead.

Although I would commend toys4geeks for actively supporting those that had brought from him.

bro,

I may have missed lang pero the R6A-ii is out of stock and am pushing R6S since its 1186 and USB 3.0 host port. you may check my MP for R160 and R180 bundle, which is exactly the same firmware as R6A-ii.

I am confident other R6A-ii owners here at PDVD will help the new R6A-ii users, I resist hard since the premium value addd we extend to our customers.

Sirs,

A friend of mine is offering me his R6A-ii.  I'm contemplating on this vs. the Xtreamer Elvira.

Been reading over the thread but would like to get any feedback on this particular model would be appreciated.

I can't seem to find any reviews over the Net, moreover, would you guys know of the latest firmware for this model?

Mura yan sir, check mo warranty duration and if freebies (HDMI etc). pero kung ayaw mong sumugal, alam mo naman kung san ka bibili ng Egreat dito sa PDVD :)

Help with Egreat R6A-II recently bought and here's what I noticed.

- 1 terabyte external lagging on the 2nd port, I had to move to the other port to make it work.
-  Sound can only pass though DTS, not DTS-HD MASTER.
- My settings are set to RAW

Any suggestions what I am missing?

Pag eject mo, and you press the button ng eject, and it does not show it again. ok na (software wise).

I normally let it spin down for 5 sec.

this was the issue of my R200, everytime I connect the HDD on my laptop, parating scandisk. that means, the HDD is not safely removed by the NMT all the time. kahit pa I'll wait for 10mins even on the spin down, ganun pa rin.

Unfortunately, this was not fixed by egreat or I cant find any fix. Instead of dealing with this all the time and risk the life of my HDD, I bought another media player which can safely shutdown the unit and HDD.

I'm pretty sure this is an issue with egreat, some owners probably are not connecting their HDD to their PC often kaya they wouldnt know that it was safely removed by their media player.

the eject feature works basta hindi marked open yung file/directory when you powered down. if you have an open file after the last scan disk, it will still appear as a disk not shutdown properly.

i-try mo scandisk on PC, plug to NMT, eject properly and plug to PC again, walang scandisk prompt.

Scandisk will always detect an improper shutdown if at some point, power is cut off (via remote or unplugging the power) during playback.

SRT?  Rename subtitle to the same file as the video file itself.

@Toys4Geeks,

We finally got thumbgen to produce the poster art for the movies. We seem to be having a problem with the cover art mode, the movies are listed alphabetically but starts with the movie Hours. After X-men, it shifts back to 100 Bloody Acres then goes alphabetically again until Hotel Transylvania. But all movies after X-men (alphabetically) are not listed.

Oh, you can sort the folders by Title or by Date uploaded

i've set it to sort alphabetically... still it starts with the movie "Hours" up to "X-Men"... followed by "100 Bloody Acres" up to "Hotel Translyvania"... every movie after "X-Men" is missing...

In list mode, all my movies show up fine and in proper alphabetical order...

oh... this only happens in my MP4 library (currently at 881 movies)... for my MKV and ISO libraries, no such issue (about 200 movies per drive)...

on another note, is the cover art mode limited to per drive viewing or can it be made to span multiple drives??? i have a couple of 4-bay probox with my MKVs and ISOs... would like to access all 8 drives in 1 go...
