Di yan bricked. try mo sir na press yung tv mode several times, or mag SD cables ka (Video out). minsan kasi pag di maganda ang HDMI cable di nya madetect.
download mo yung stock na R6A-ii kahit luma para ma isolate mo. stay away from the custom firmware kasi maraming generation yang si R6A-ii na may flash size na pag nagkamali ka ng load eh ganyan ang siste. hope that helps.
Regards
UPDATE:
Restored my firmware to 3.7.1.0, taken from the same website,
http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/DVD-BluRay-Media-Players/Egreat/Egreat-R6A-II-Media-Player-Firmware-3710.shtml, and it works fine now.
Ang main reason ko kaya ako nag try mag update ng firmware is this;
Some movies do not play when accessed through wired network/LAN. When I copy the files in a mobile HDD, they worked fine. Tried ruling out if it is the NMT or my network. I tried using my other NMT, (Mede8er), and it played the movie fine. So I'm guessing it's the NMT.
Anyway, to give you a quick description of my set-up;
NAS (where all movies are stored) ---> Router ---> TP Link Power Line (in) ---> TP Link Power Line (out) ---> NMT.
I have exactly the same set up sa sala, where the Mede8er is installed, and sa kwarto ng anak ko, where the e-great is installed.
I tried upgrading the firmware, thinking na yun ang solution sa problema ko. Pero hindi ko nga ma install ng maayos yung 4.** firmware. Besides, no assurance pa rin kung maaayos ng firmware upgrade ang problem ko.
Any leads will help sir.
Salamat po!
