Best Denki has a better reputation so that's an added plus. So my wife and I went there ready to buy the TV. But the salestaff showed us this:

truth be told, i was still tilted to the 42PV70H, but we decided to get the LG when my wife said she can now record and watch her TFC programs.
bells and whistles aside, there was the price. from S$2999 to S$1799 plus S$200 grocery vouchers. the price includes the 5 years warranty, tax, delivery, pedestal and a wall mount. the wall mount can be installed later from the first day the TV is delivered up to 3 months. bought using a credit card, 12 mos. to pay, zero interest.
