another tip: replace those real skinny power cords that come with surplus cd players with fat and sturdy ones from HMR... they come in different lengths...had one of those soldered to my technics surplus player para at least better looking and hopefully better sounding...you can get ones with round plugs para derecho na to the daewoo stepdown transformer without having to use plug adapters pa

sir obet, nakakuha ka rin ng powercords na sing taba ng "vienna sausage". Ahehehehehe. Actually, these powercords sold by HMR are the ones used for servers and server appliance, kaya pulido rin yung construction and materials nung powercord.

Dami pa yan sir! Dun ka maghanap sa may gitnang stack, tabi ng mga pc. bale located mismo yung rack nung powercords sa gitna. Konting tiyaga lang sa paghanap dahil halo halo yung sizes.

sir gaano ba kalaki kinuah mo? am planing to replace mine as well e, or would it be advisable that i bring the power cord instead? baka kasi magkamali don sa size ng ulo e.

...plano ko rin upgrade ung cord ng rotel cdp ko...di ka magkakamali since kelangan mo lang piliin either round or flat plug accdg to your needs...ung other end naman pare pareho na IEC type

for your surplus cdp, kelangan lang putulin at solder sa loob ng player and voila meron ka ng heavy duty na cord

mine has the removable power cord, i think its the same for all technics cdp. cge sir, try ko maghahanap this weekend.

mukha ngang heavy duty and good build...pinalitan ko nga ung cord ng MS subwoofer ko with it ...tamang tama ang haba may allowance pa konti.

linisin nyo lang ng mc cream and presto meron na kayong bagong vienna sausage power cord

pinaka ok is yung sony 701es 260,000 yen in 1983 top of the line model. parang kasing bigat nung sa akin. kaya lang no digital output . but ayaw daw magbasa ng cdr, 2500 asking.

yung onkyo c-701xd 59,800 yen in 1988, ok din pero di ko na natest. 2400 asking.

di muna ako bili, wala budget.

kamusta yung transformer ?

I have also tried the 701es when I went there asking is 2.1K kaya lang when we tested, nagloloko. San mo sir nakita yung 553ESD, last time I went there 228ESD and 333ESD lang nandun. Yung sansui ba sir nakita mo yung alpha 607 model? I also saw Onkyo DX-1000R, Onkyo DX-1000X and Sansui 700CD-R and a lot of Technics SL-P700 and SL-P770.
I suggest sir that when buying from pier, bring test CDs burned at different speeds, 4x, 8x, 16x, 24x, etc. I experienced reading problems in Sony CDPs even for the ES models. or maybe its just me...

i remember auditioning a sansui alpha series as well a couple of weeks ago, as i remember distinctly the alpha sign in the left most corner of the player. manipis yong sound, as compared to the denon and the sony i suppose the sansui be my last choice. i dont know but this is just me.

btw, i think they were selling it then for 1.9k and d rin mamimili ng cds.

this is true. i've been auditioning sansui alpha CDPs since last year here in our town, masama ang performance even the high-numbered models. at sirain pa daw, sabi nung mga Hapon dito. the old CDP models by the way were priced very high because these were the first commercial models of CDP prototypes in the early '80s. thus, original price quotes generally do not reflect quality or sonic performance for these equipment . besides with an age of over 20 yrs old, electronic components should already be a suspect.
