Sir, top of the line yan ng Yamaha sometime late '80s. May nakita ako niyan dito sa Davao pero hindi ko pa alam, nag-research muna ako, nang balikan ko after one hour wala na. It was likely sold at P700 or P800. Is the Sony M55 midi-size, kasi parang yan ang model number ng unang CDP ko late '80s. Matibay yan pero sobrang gaan, compared with others, parang walang laman sa loob.

Is there any other way for a cdp in Davao to reach me here other than through the bus? If it would take the bus, how much cost and physical damage should I expect? Depleted na kasi sa Pier ang supply ng surplus cdp.

i don't wanna make promises ha...but i'll see what i can do...magkita kami ni sandawa when i visit davao on october 23 until nov. 2...baka i can bring 1 to 2 units (unless maraming padala pauwi si supergirl)...i'll let you know...i have a sony 333ES kina supergirl which i bought from remde enterprises in davao...cosmetically, it's in very good condition...kanya lang medyo mataas ko nabili...you can text me 0918-9284868...malay natin may makasabay akong kakilala, at least makakatipid sa freight...God bless!

Totoo ba ito? Actually wala ding dating na container vans dito as of Friday, pero outside of two units na puwede kong ipadala sa 'yo puwede pa siguro ako mangahoy ng 3 to 5 units at P700 each. May mga nakita ako last Friday na Pioneer 7030, Philips 760, Marantz 74, Kenwood pure digital (walang RCA connectors) at JVC models. I'll check on these models today, I'll buy the 3 best units on appearance.

Ang alam kong rate ng bus is about P12 per kilo, Pantranco. If I'll send you the two Sony 502ES @ 10kgs each, hindi ganun kalaki, kaya lang baka mapisa sayang magandang models pa naman ito. Yung ibang models mga 5kgs each at hindi ganun kaganda, as per my appraisal, we could the risk. Kung wala pa kayong makita diyan by Friday, tell me. I'll work on it Saturday ('yun lang ang day-off ko sa PC, kasi highly pressured Online work for Manila office ang kayod ko dito.)

Puwede thru Superman kaya lang marami ring dala yan pag umuuwi. Ngayon pa bumabaha ng durian, mangosteen, marang at lanzones dito. Yun na lang kaya padala ko sa inyo? Mas masarap kagatin ang Davao fruits kaysa CDP.

Bro thanks very much for the offer of accomodation and naintindihan ko kung madami ka baggage pauwi, sa mga sinabi ni sandawa na pagkain, I'm sure you need to bring back some of these.

Sir, as per intel, medyo konti na ang mapagpilian sa pier and that is why I ask if ever mayroon pa sa inyo sa Davao. And syempre dapat hindi hassle sa work mo dyan.

The cdps doesn't have to be sratch-free but if possible dent-free, pero what's important is the condition of the transport and the lens. I know you're thorough in testing these units and I'll leave that to you.

Regarding Pantranco, pwede siguro natin testing kung mag survive yun cdp na makarating dito? Kahit isa lang muna, then we'll see if it still works.

Pero will try and scout muna before we try bringing cdp in Manila.

As for the food, nakuh, wag ka magbabangit ng ganyan at sigurado present lahat.

Sir based on earlier "hunts" it really pays to thoroughly test a surplus cdp when it comes to reading various types of cd. Minsan kahit na maganda yun brand namimili din ng cd. Dapat ma tests mabuti kng mabilis pa magbasa, some of the guys here use pcd, orig cd, cdr, pang test. Hindi kasi natin alam ang condition nun lens kaya medyo risky din, but for the price and the chance to test it, it makes the hunting worth your while.

saang price ba naglalaro yung mga top of the line na surplus cd players? para at least may idea ako.

Would like to clear something pre.. sa Pier halo halo ang models and brands not exactly meron top of the line palagi its more of tsambahan in models and brands..

btw please don't let the seller (shop) know which is very good model from a regular one and alam nila madalas is they all the same..

Pag nagtaas sila ng price sigurado hindi na mabibili yun mga surplus nila so baka magdalawang isip din yun na magtaas.

Sana nga ay umulan ng surplus cdp sa pier para makapili na ng bagong subject, naaawa na ako sa Onkyo, pag may 24 hours na break-in na amp, pati sya kasama sa break-in.
