Yeah I demoed this Cinema 3D too at Ansons Makati and all I can say is wow! the depth is really there even at a distance of 8ft to 10ft.. Incredible.. No flickering.. No dizziness.. Just pure 3D entertainment.. but all that goodness is of course pricey! hehehe..

42" is at 99K at Ansons but it comes with lot's of goodies like the XBOX 360 and 4 Pairs of 3D Glasses..
However we really don't need the extra xbox 360 since it doesn't play 3D anyway...

I was thinking of importing the LW5600 (US Model) @ 100K and a bigger size (47 inches) with the same specs and the 4 3D Glasses but minus the xbox 360.. oh wait not the same specs but with better specs such as the 8M:1 Contrast.. hehe

Basically the same price for the 42 incher locally.. but still waiting for the good news from sir vic! hehehe!

now this is a nice evolution of the current mainstream bulky glasses 3D tvs, pricey but no messy charging of glasses, hope glasses free tv na ang next, a nice upgrade to look forward to in the future from my current pk550

I saw this earlier at SM Appliance, 99k - 42LW5700 with 4 pairs of passive eyeglasses, xbox 360 slim with kinect (and kinect adventures) and a 3D Blu Ray Player...

I tried it and as expected the eyeglasses were very comfortable (and cheaper) and the Depth of Field is actually better than than the 42PW350...My only gripe is when you lose center focus, I felt a bit dizzy thus I think, it's going to be a challenge when you play the Kinect Adventures...

How much kaya ito kay Sir Vic?

I remembered that the passive 3D technology helped Vizio win the innovation award last CES 2011.

the LG LW5600 should cost around $1,400 with shipping na...so that's about Php 61,000. Not sure how you ended up computing Php 100K

ah.. thanks for clarifying.. I don't want to ship this baby by sea kasi medyo matagal and matagtag kasi kapag sea freight. Anyways FOB Manila Port ba yung 61K? or door to door na? Sobrang cheap na un! but un nga lang medyo hassle and the wait will be really really long.. hehe

door to door...30 to 45 days waiting time. my bro in law tried it na. sa bahay pa nga dumating yung TV. he was in the us tapos he bought the tv and shipped it to manila. nauna pa sya dumating sa tv

Unfortunately no because 42pw350 is an active-based 3D TV, unlike the ones in the LW5600 which is passive-based.

wow that's great dude! I am used to shipping small items from the US but I'm scared to import big tvs like these. I'll try it cguro by october what forwarder did he use? many thanks man!

Currently 89,991 at SM Appliance Center for this same package. Plus they'll throw in 3 free months of SkyCable Broadband Plan 3 Mbps. Additional 3D glasses are only 300 pesos daw.

Will 3D games from PS3 output correctly in this LG? Forgive my ignorance but since the games were designed for active not passive type 3D will there be a difference? Also was not aware that xbox360 has 3D games. Where are they sold?
