...oh i also posted in the PCH thread asking why they claim to be the only NMT that can play full 3D? This i doubt cause their cable is 1.3 and they're only 1080p.

I don't get whats special with the A210 over the other NMT's that can also play 3D. Hmmmm

There's always going to be "marketing speak" in a competitive environment.

PCH never said it was the only one capable. All it claims is it was the first to support the Matroska 3D specifications;

As for full 3D, again another claim made by a marketing team. If you want to get technical about it, full 3D can mean display 2 streams using SBS or TAB because even 720p is HD as long as it's not Standard Definition (SD).

What's special is that it implements Matroska 3D standards so it doesn't require users to shift from 2D viewing mode to 3D when it encounters a Matroska 3D encoded file.

Just wanna ask, what is the difference between a half-SBS and a full-SBS in 3D videos, can u recognize the difference? TIA.

you use a program called mediainfo (available for PC and Mac).

Half SBS files consist of 2 x 720p video tracks
Full SBS consist of 2 x 1080p video tracks

A good file to test would be IMAX: Hubble 3D kasi maliit lang ang filesize.

I downloaded this file,(half-sbs) hindi sya nag read sa samsung 51'D550 plasma.

3DTVs by themselves cannot play SBS MKV files. You need a media player.

Guys just wanna ask, how come some of the .mkv files cant be read by Samsung 3Dtv through its USB port? It says "video codec not supported" I downloaded some 3D documentaries, some can be read while some cannot, but they have excatly the same video format.(.mkv/half-SBS) TIA.

I tried it with a KAiboer media player. What brand of media player will play a downloaded SBS format? Ive downloaded 3 SBS formats, d 3DTV played it.
