Animo!!!

There's this one sequence from ust that really confused me.dlsu was leading by only 2.but they thought it was a good idea to heave 3-4 3pt attempts.

Honestly, I don't want that Mbala player in La Salle. Masyado syang malakas baka masira pa ang chemistry ng current roster. Idevelop na lang yung mga rookies para patas lang ang laban. Parang ang dumi pating maglaro based on that youtube links. Larong egot, di tulad ni Perkins simple lang.

Historically, sino ba ang mga naging "dirty" player ng La Salle? Nakita ko lang nag tirahan sina Tyrone Bautista at ibang UST players during that finals pero yun lang.

Akala ko next year na? Taka din ako kung saan papasok si lineup si Mbala kung wala namang mawawala sa team next year. Anyway we'll see. Kailangan muna nilang mag two-peat next year.

Chief, I think nakalimutan mo na 13 players lang ang lineup natin this year. That's 3 short of the 16 players allowed by the UAAP.

Kung hindi na injure si Yutien, 14 ang tao natin.

Congratulations to DLSU. Much deserved win. If you look at the stats sheet, DLSU had the more balanced scoring and production.

I thought UST controlled 3/4 of the game but committed very costly errors down the stretch. When DLSU was rallying, why didn't Coach Pido call a timeout? Why did Jeric Teng have to bring out the ball in the crucial seconds when the game is on the line? Twice!! Will Lebron, MJ or Kobe do that? You live and die with your top gunner.

Anyway, my wife was ready with an "FB status" when UST was leading. She thought UST will win. I told her it's not over till it's over.

Basang basa talaga plays ng uste at the start of the 2nd half.
Pasa kay abdul sa midrange.
Dribble ng kaunti.
Abdul will then pass it back out or pass to a cutter which rarely happened.
Tapos pilit na titirahin ng player whoever gets the pass from abdul.
Stupid or benta 3rd qtr? Only danding knows.

Over at the NCAA, the darkhorse now is the Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Generals. They're in the running for the 4th and last spot of the Final Four. If they win their last two games and San Sebastian loses both, they're IN.

Happy for the coaching staff esp. Coach Gerry Esplana and Asst Coach Mark Manosca. Both are batchmates from San Beda

assuming la salle's players meet the academic requirements, only revilla will be ineligible for the next season. de la paz, tampus, and vosotros were in their fourth playing year. norbert torres and van opstal were in their third. though i think the former can play for only one more year because he already earned his degree.

re jeric teng making the in bound. the man making the in bound can be the most dangerous player with the proper play.

Bakit di na pwede si LA Revilla, John? Si Norbert patapos na rin yata pero baka mag mba na lang. Si AVO, wag mo nang asahan sa academics haha. Siguradong pahahabain yan kahit di athlete.

Kung si Buenafe nga eh, napaabot nila ng 6 years sa school. hehe

although revilla has just completed his fourth playing year, he has already earned a bachelor's degree. he's taking ma in education, i think. from what i recall, athletes who are in graduate school, or those studying for a second degree, are eligible to play for only one year, regardless if the student has previously played in a varsity league or not.

in buenafe's case, he had to sit out because of academic deficiencies. from what i recall, players have five playing years within seven years.

not sure if andrada has earned his degree, but he got injured before the season started. he is still eligible if he wants to play since he sat out this season--unless he has graduated, and is taking graduate studies this school year.
