I'm a big fan of this show.  I first saw Cesar Millan on Oprah, and I thought he was pretty good.

The Dog Whisperer has been Nat Geo's top rated program for 6 years.  It's on its 7th season, and is shown in more than 80 countries worldwide.

But Cesar Millan has many critics, particularly the dog trainers who advocate positive reinforcement methods:

I recently gave my wife a baby female chihuahua as her birthday gift.  Cute and smart little puppy.

Tried following Cesar Milan's style of teaching the puppy, using "Tssst!" as the sound to say whenever she does something that we don't want her to do.

Now, when I or my wife says "Tssst!", the puppy also answers back with a "Tssst!" sound, which she does by doing something similar to a forced sneeze.  ;D

Damn smart puppy... hehe.

I love this show.  I've watched the whole five seasons over the last couple of weeks.  I love the part when the dog whisperer met the horse whisperer lol.  Also, the ep with Daisy Fuentes, ohlala! :)

Claiming your space is freaking amazing.  Now, my dog doesn't take his naps in our kitchen coz that space is mine baby, I claimed it.

Also, when it comes to feeding time, dog now gives me the space to do the whole routine and waits at arms length until I give him the signal to come close and chow.

i watched an episode just a couple of weeks back and I was surprised to see that the dog he was pacifying suddenly bit his hand  :o. composed pa naman sya pero tulo yung dugo eh. The owner of the dog freaked out and cried because of what her dog did.

Critics can cry all they want but I think Cesar is genius!
If they want, produce their own show and prove the dog whisperer wrong! >:(
