SONY 40BX420 -- how is it?
« on: Apr 23, 2011 at 05:33 PM »
Has anyone tried the new Sony 40BX420?  I'm thinking of buying one.  I think it's the cheapest Sony yet (among 2011 models).  Need some input and advice.  TIA.

I am also contemplating to buy this Sony model.  Hope there will be detailed user feedbacks on this model.

On another note for Sony LCD users, does Sony LCD last as long as the Sony tube type TV like more than 5 years.

Hello po Mam Julia. I think i have the answer to your  question. Yes Sony last long. I've seen an old model 32 inch being used in one of the clinics in  Robinsons Ortigas I think it's around 5 years old already. Same with Hotel Sofitel 2007 model na 40 incher.  :)

Thanks for your input! I had a Samsung LCD and in less than 5 years which is even seldom used already conked out.  I think I will go back to Sony but not sure if their LCDs last long similar to their tube versions.

Saw this model when I was SnS, PQ not impressive.  My brother has a sony LCD, PQ not good as our LG scarlet.
