Topic: Where can I get headshell for Denon DP3000 TT

Guys please help me on my dilemma, I have seen a DP 3000 in one of the surplus shop but without headshell, the looks of it seems it is in very good condition, the cover is still scratch less, Im eager to get it but the problem is the missing head shell. Can you guys help me where can i get one? Any replies will be greatly appreciated. If there is no headshell then it follows that it also does not have the cartridge and stylus. You might try the shure m44-7h available at audiophile stores. It's already a complete set-up of headshell with the cartridge and stylus already connected. All you need to do is connect it to the tonearm of the turntable. It's supposed to be a cartridge for djs so I'm not really sure of its compatibility with the Denon DP3000. I do not know how it would sound. You would have to ask the experts for that.

Can you possibly ask what tonearm was used?? If it's a regular Denon Tonearm, it may be able to accept generic headshells such as Denon, Technics and Ortofon...Thanks!

 As I can see it, it is the original tonearm. Can you please help me where to find such headshell? Great thanks mga sirs.

Usually these japanese brands have a standard tonearm fitting so any headshell should fit on your denon.

I have a spare headshell with no stylus. I can sell it if youre interested.

Yeah i think P8k is about average. Just haggle some more. Headshell is at P500 (firm). Ill just double check if may extra nga ako.

Old model na DP3000, hindi pa quartz lock. Just make sure its working properly (i.e. the speed). For 8k, I think you can get a better turntable, IMHO.

Yes, considering an original Denon headshell is almost impossible to find(if not expensive), plus a good cartridge, sigurado more than 4k pa add mo.

Hmm thank you for your replies mga sir, Ill just haggle more but if they didnt give in, I think adding additional 4k is justifiable. Also DP3000 is made in Japan, so it is 110v, i am very allergic to that. heheheh

question lang bro, eto ba yung surplus shop na along aguinaldo road, cavite? nakita ko din kasi yung denon DP3000 na yon and you are right super kinis pa kaso wala nga lang yung headshell, meron daw kasama yon kaso may kumuha daw kasi hindi nila naalis agad.
