NY, our favorite show is back!

Glad to see that both Ozzie and Coach settled in rather nicely with their respective tribes.

I liked seeing the geek triumph. It's The Revenge of The Big Bang Theory.

It HAS TO be an interesting season, since wala talagang eye candy. Isa lang na puwede na pagtiyagaan.  ::)

The same way that I never understood what George Bush meant when he called terrorists as cowards.

Buti nga sa kupal na yon if he really looked down on Cochran the most.  Revenge of the Nerd Act 1. hehehe.  But I just wish there would be a challenge where he would have a decent chance of winning individual immunity - really clumsy in any challenge so far.

Two consecutive stupid moves by Ozzie, I think.

I feel for Cochran. I can relate to him. Whatever he does, people will pick on him. They wanted him to do the dirty work while previously treating him like sh--. Even in the deleted scenes, they were planning on getting rid of him after the merge and yet they have the audacity of calling Cochran a coward--just because Cochran is fighting for his own game.

Have you forgotten that the only reason Cochran is still in the game is because of the scheme? By all accounts, it was his time to go last time, and he would've been voted off unanimously and then humiliatingly defeated by Christine in the duel - a girl who from all indications would've joined up with Ozzy's team anyway, so the numbers still would've been even.

I think the very least he owed his team for keeping him in when they really didn't have to would've been to NOT spill the beans on who they were giving the idol to, giving them at least a chance to have won round one of voting by luck of the draw. But no, he laid all their cards on the table - despite Coach's team not giving him the slightest indication who THEY were voting for.

And his move made absolutely no sense, strategically. He's now 7th on his new team, with absolutely NO VOTES from his old tribe. On his old team, worst case scenario, he was 6th, with potential pity votes or even spite votes (vs. Ozzy) from Coach's team if he made the final 3. Plus he had some sort of alliance going with Dawn and even Jim, who'd readily use him to oust Ozzy. So that's Top 5 or Top 4 right there... luck of the draw na lang. For someone who claims to have studied Survivor as much as Cochran has, I can't see the logic of his actions. No strategy in going further than his current standing, and no loyalty to secure final votes.

=====

Having said that, my ideal situation for last week would've been NO MERGE, then Ozzy defeated by Christine and sent home. Then their team losing the challenge, and Cochran being sent to Redemption Island.  ;D

Nope. The additional stuff on CBS can't be viewed from the Philippines. Will check out that link you provided, though.

====

ETA: Having seen the deleted scenes from Episode 8, my opinion remains exactly the same. I'm very anti-Ozzy, but I really think what Cochran did sucks donkey dick. For exactly the same reasons already stated above. Cochran made an emotional decision, not an honorable nor an intelligent one. Even what's-her-face from the other tribe said the same thing in that deleted scene.

This.

I just don't seen the logic in Cochran's decision to change votes. He just torpedoed his tribe's chances. He already saw how solid the other tribe is, how can he even think he can weasel his way into that alliance?

I also don't get why Ozzy and his tribemates would think that Christine would go back to her original tribe when she so obviously showed how much she disliked her former tribemates and even indicated in the first redemption challenge that she is flipping the moment she reenters the game.

I don't think he really did - I think Ozzy just wanted to do a flashy gimmick that would get him remembered, to extend his 15 minutes of fame.

Complete ba ang deleted scenes sa Youtube?  Too bad access is restricted to US ISPs only.

BTW, Mikayla reminded me of a young Ethan Hawke.

Yes there are. Some videos I uploaded on YouTube are not viewable in certain countries due to music licensing issues. Wild!

But the link you provided works fine from the Philippines.

Ozzy was actually able to warrant airtime for redemption island. We're never shown redemption island, hehe.

A friend really loved the episode, but I was bored. I think we all knew that they'be be Pagonged, and the producers would fake an edit where some people might shift out of the alliance but ultimately wouldn't. Tapos nagyabang na naman si Ozzy. Same old, same old.

I did like the fact that they now know we smell Pagonging a mile away, so they remove two people per episode and we don't have to sit through a month of predictability.

That sneak preview for next week's Redemption Island duel has got to be a deliberate edit...or a very bad spoiler.

Watching the Survivor finale was kind of like watching the Young Apprentice finale. You really don't care about anyone left enough to be excited. The winner was so inconsequential that for the first time, the winner doesn't get to be on the Today show the next day to accept the $1M, they just handed it at the finale. In a small envelope. Yes, they didn't even bother to print out a big check for effect. LOL!

But Ozzy's vote eventually decided the winner.  What would have happened kung tied sa 4-4 yung final voting?  Hati sa 1M or fire-making challenge sa studio?

I would like to see Ozzy and Parvati against each other sa "tiisan" challenge.  Hehehe
