Anyone using Boxee media player here? How does it compare with XBMC?

i did try this, ang gusto ko sa kanya yung navi-x na repository wherein i can watch online streaming (depende sa ISP speed mo), dito ko pinapapanood ng cartoons yung mga anak ko ;D kaya lang may mga files din ako na hindi nya ma-play ng maayos

cant compare with xbmc, hindi kasi ako tumagal dun

Yeah. Ang catch-on ng Boxee yung online content and social media nya. Everything else's XBMC thingie na. Problem with this media software is very seldom in-update. Latest build's Oct, 2010 pa. Actually I had more success in using Boxee in my ASUS eeePC 1201PN (2gb ram, 1.66ghz atom) with NVIDIA Ion graphics card. I connected to Sony Bravia TV. It plays mkv / bluray files very well. I'm seeing some glitches lang with standard def media files like avi, dvd when playing in TV.  There's some horizontal lines popping occasionally. I'm not sure if this is normal with an htpc setup when connected to TV through hdmi, boxee/xbmc bug or probably this netbook's causing it.?

Kabaligtaran naman sakin compaped to you since I use Boxee as my regular player. I tried XBMC for a moment lang. Coz it eithers srutters or crashes on this netbook. But I'm sure its just a config I'm probably missing. Haven't had the motivation to troubleshoot :)
