I got mine for $77.00 Tax Inclusive (all the stuff in the image included)

Salamat sir. Wag na magsisi, for info - I got numerous (as in numerous) mis-purchases with Astro before (suki na ako ng Astro festival mall back in the early yr 2000). Sometimes resources were to limited and if I remember correctly around 2002 they were back suprisingly selling R1 US Disney DVDs (Nemo, Monster Inc...) Cost was P1,500 (it was huge for me back then). As long as you enjoy your passion keep it up and sooner you will be granted with awesome deals.

I now cutback my spenditure and make sure I get the very best bargain before I buy but there are cases that some of our wants = we need it or we suffer the craving.

thnx pre, kc one time, nakita ko sa astro the block ung sound of music box set for only 2,500, hindi ko pa kinuha, nung bumalik ako, sold out na, try to contact all astro branches, pero wala na talaga, kaya nung nakita ko ads nila for pre ordering of the LOTR box set,nag place ako. only to find out nga na mahal pala. (btw, i got my sound of music box set at 3,600.00 ( courtesy of anya.)

same here, that is my most expensive blu-rays. Last time i'll purchase locally. After that, i buy my blu-rays from our reputable sellers here

Bros ot. Since you own expensive bd's maybe you've own good bdp. Ano po ba recommended bdp? Not so expensive sana max 15k. Using Philips bdp2500 but some bd's especially the used ones can't play, unknown ang lumalabas sa monitor. Tried the cant play bd's sa ps3 gumana naman.

There's one in the MarketPlace a SONY BDP S1000ES @ a whopping P25k, this is a good one but hurts the wallet badly but it says negotiable

The most expensive BD title I got was from an online site that charged me $8.00 per month for all the titles I could download in a month. Problem was at 25-35 GB per title, I could only download about 6-7 BD titles a month.

Lotr extended edition courtesy of Philip(anya). 2500 lang, but if bought from astrovision its 3500 kaya laking mura kung sa trusted pdvd sellers na lang.

Blu-ray discs from Amazon.co.jp are quite expensive. I bought a limited edition "The Phantom of the Opera" encoded in Dolby TrueHD for 4,331 yen (P3,251). What made it more expensive was the charges from DHL and customs. I paid a total of P4,960 for this 2-disc title.

^ i ordered it thru a pdvd seller from a third party seller in amazon us. it's expensive pero hindi ko na pinalagpas because i really love the artwork on the steelbook and of course the film itself. afaik, it's already out of print. some are selling it now quadruple the original price.

Seven Samurai Criterion Edition Blu-ray from a pdvd member for 1,600 pesos. Worth it talaga. Hindi pa ako willing to spend more than 2k for a blu-ray title since most of the titles I like are just around 500 to 800 pesos lang. Having thoughts about getting the original trilogy sa Star Wars while Taxi Driver might be a good buy as well
