Splash Pro thru Samsung Plasma.. Help
« on: Jan 16, 2012 at 06:12 AM »
Guys patulong naman if there is something i can do using a Splash Pro player, displayed thru a Samsung PS43D450 which has a native resolution of 1024x768.. pag play ko ng movie parang medyo bansot yung mga tao.. parang nahatak sideways.. parang wala akong makitang options or settings ng Splash Pro para sa tamang aspect ratio for my plasma.. unlike dun sa XBMC eh meron calibration ng pixels na puwedeng hatakin yung mga sides to make it 1.333 or 4.3 aspect ratio.. sa Splash pro kasi kahit 4.3 na sttings eh parang iba ang sukat.. baka po may nakakaalam ng tamang settings ng Splash Pro para sa plasma with a native resolution na 1024x768.. pa share naman po.. salamat po...

Do you connect your PC via the VGA port or the HDMI port?

Try a TV-supported square pixel 16:9 resolution on your PC (check your user guide if you have it with you). 1280x720 or 1360x768/1365x768/1366x768 usually works. The TV will typically compensate for it automatically, as it is designed to accept square pixel information. You may have to play with overscan settings later on for proper desktop coverage, however.

it has the capabilities na mag play ng "tru-motion" yung parang magiging life like yung movie.. parang dinadaya niya yung monitor na HD-ready para maging FullHD..

ok naman sa akin ang splash pro.. yun lang di ko mai-adjust yung aspect ratio sa plasma since 1024x768, medyo unano yung tao.. yung adjustment niya eh it's either mabawasan yung screen or mag magnify.. pero don't have a problem sa splash pro using my 32LED which has a resolution of 1366x768.. sometimes may scene na di maganda yung pag process niya ng Tru-motion lalo na pag sobrang bilis yung galaw.. pero try mo yung Walking Dead sa splash pro.. ang galing, laki ng pagkakaiba..

using XBMC naman eh simple once you get used to it.. sobrang dami ng option at available skin..  pero may slight lag lang pag HD yung palabas dahil wala ako video card.. yung onboard lang ang gamit ko.. lalo yung Transformers ROTF IMAX.. pag lumaki yung screen gapang na yung video.. pero pag may video card ka walang problema...

pinaglalaruan ko pa ang mga best option ko for movie watching some say powerdvd daw pinaka the best in term of pq and sq later ko pa matry so far sa splash pro was able to play yung 1080p ko with no issue except pagsinabayan ng ibang app nabagal... :)
