Help with DVD region hack for Panasonic Blu Ray Players
« on: Jan 20, 2012 at 08:47 AM »
Meron bang nag-ooffer ng region hacking service for Panasonic BD player, specifically model BDT110?  I've read about the dvd region hack using the One for All remote (which I don't have), the custom remote available at ebay,  and the custom firmware which makes the BD player BD and DVD region free.  I'm only interested in making mine dvd region free.  Anyone has the one for all remote who is willing to make my player region free for a (minimal) fee?

Finally got my OneForAll URC-7740 universal remote (P500 shipped free from UK) and I can confirm that it can region-unlock the Panasonic BDT110 for dvd.  Pwede na rin siyang pang-replace sa sirang TV remote sa kitchen  :D

Sorry po, I'm not selling the remote kasi ginamit kong replacement for a defective TV remote.  Di ko rin alam if the region unlock will be preserved after a firmware update so I'm holding on to the remote.  For those interested, I got the remote from here:

http://www.ebay.ph/itm/One-All-URC-7740-4-1-Universal-Remote-Control-/170764935316?pt=UK_AudioTVElectronics_Video_RemoteControls&hash=item27c2622094

Total cost is P550 including shipping from the UK.  Got the remote 10 days after ordering.

I just the followed the unlocking instruction from here:
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks?dvdplayer=Panasonic+DMP-BDT110&hits=50&Search=Search#31793
Just take note of the typo correction below the page

My unit is a Panasonic BDT110.  I'm not sure if the unlock procedure applies to all Panasonic models.  Just do a search at videohelp.com for your specific model.

Hope this helps.

By the way, the remote I ordered from eBay didn't come with a manual.  I just downloaded it from the web.
