LG BD630 vs. Samsung BD5100
« on: Jan 29, 2012 at 07:59 PM »
Me and the wifey just bought a 32" LG LCD TV. Seeing my wife is enjoying HD movies, ready na sana ako bumili ng Samsung BD5100. Being quite OC, I realized na medyo di "pantay" if our BD player's from a diferent manufacturer. Viola! I saw an LG player being sold here recently. Nagkakatalo lang talaga sa USB slot. Price is almost the same. Questions is:

Is LG's BD630 have the same capabilities as Sammy's BD5100? Can they both play the same video and audio formats? For example, I know that BD5100 can play DTS. Ganun din ba ang LG? 5.1?

I know that you can check through their specs. However, I just want to hear from the experts hear in PDVD.

TIA!

Just recently purchased an LG BD630 player. I'm very satisfied with it. This has a USB slot and it recognized my 2TB external HDD and so far, it played every file I threw at it. It's like having a BDP and an NMT at the same time. ;D ;D ;D
