Had 4 wooden side panels fabricated out of mahogany for the traffo casing. No varnish used, just wood wax. Anyway, i think it improved the aesthetics of the Duettos:)

my amx setup

amx 6Sn7 tube preamp with separate tube regulated PS
tone defeat, loudness switch, balance, treble and bass control, sub gain ontrol, remote vol/input selctor control and 211 tube based pp 150 wpc monoblocks

louie is this you?  I think I remember you mentioning that this was your handle was voltraizer and I somehow recognize the Stac AVR that you brought over to Andrew's place.  Anyway - Nice Monoblocks!  WOW
