Gave andrew the layout i wanted for the tubes ala st70, he said no problem with the layout he can do it but discouraged me for safety reasons coz the output tubes of one of each channel is upfront and can burn hands accidentally. I also asked if i can use rca5U4G as my rectifier, according to him it might not be able to handle 4 kt88s and 4 6550s coz power amps are demanding. He mentioned that using rca5U4G with preamp is ok coz the power demand is minimal. He suggested sylvania5U4GB pero scarce na rin daw ito and his last one was used in your preamp.

After mentioning to me the pros and cons he said in the end "it is still my decision".

Sir, paglabas daw ng SuperTodo-70 amp ni jetok sa inyo daw yung session. ang alam ko 1st week of may daw yun lalabas.

i should have not passed by Phasetron yesterday...

kase, there's a new KT-88 based amp in Phasetron. the unit is andrew's & he modified the circuit into a super triode. boy, does the amp sound really clear & clean! saka ang bass... ayos!

ngayon... gulong-gulo na naman ang isip ko at 'di ako makatrabaho... hayyy... $:-\$

STC - super triode connection... di ba nasa article yan na pinost ni john dito noon.

maraming circuits described in that article at favorite nung author itong super triode.

oo nga. i remember the article. andrew tried to explain to me what he did. unfortunately, nagkaroon ako ng info overload... (1MB lang dala kong memory kahapon

). all i remember is that the circuit uses the power tubes as some sort of afterburners.

tanong n'yo na lang... tapos share n'yo dito. ayoko maglalabas muna kasi laganap na naman ang SARS, eh.

yun na kaya ang sagot sa tanong mo kung alin tube gagamitin pang tube rolling (kt88, 6550, etc).
