yun na nga ba ang super triode amp ni sir andrew? yung may wood & aluminum casing? parang matagal ko na nakita ang amp na yun, balak ko nga bilihin yun nung may pera pa ako, kaso naka-hook noon sa celestion speaker na 86db.

pero last friday sinubukan namin sa Alon, Corral at AAudio speakers... oks na oks din pala ang tunog, malinis... meron unmarked toggle switch, pag ON biglang lumalakas ang gain at tumataba ang bass, kaya yata ang tawag nila dun ay "loudness" switch... i bet yung switch na yun ay pang toggle between Triode & Super Triode.

'yun na nga 'yun. fyi, personal amp ni andrew 'yun at ni-rewire n'ya lang into super triode. i don't know if he is selling that amp...

Mas bago nanaman ba itong 12watt super triode kaysa 10watt "David version 2" ? Ano po ang difference between the two?

the david2 is single ended wired in pentode mode and uses el34s as the power tubes

parang mas detailed yung highs nung SE KT88 kaysa David2... pero for 12k tunog tubo na rin ang David2.

actually ang linis at ang detalyado nuong SE KT88 na naka-super triode. mapa-highs, mids or bass man.

yup, very clean, and bass was tight, some might mistake it as no bass since its not boomy. can't wait to try this kind of amp with 95 db++ speakers

EL-34 - svetlana 1.1k/pc, siemens 1.5 to 1.8k/pc, sed 1.2k (kay hans libre daw, ahehehehehe), meron din ako extra.
12AX7 - chinese and russian around 400 to 800/pc. NOS expect it to be around 1.5k to 2k/pc
5u4G - 1 to 1.5K

807-based 'yung amp. 12wpc SE pentode. ibang klase tunog... you have to hear it for yourselves... i-AB n'yo with the 300B na available duon.

..but didnt hear it $:-\$ ..i wonder y its has a high voltage(sabi nila e) connected on top of the tubes

...hmmm...the new kt-88 with super triode switch really looks impressive

it's not yet my amp, according to andrew metal works pa lang yung saken and will let me know by may15 kung kaya i-release on or before may 20. inip na nga ako eh........sana worth the wait.
