oissst, para kayong maglalako ha.... magkano po ba yang lumpia... este... tube niyo?

para hindi tayo OT... the reason i wanted to try other 12au7 tubes is... i did an A/B comparison with or without my amx preamp by using the 2 line outs of my CD player (as usual)... the preamp seems to clear things up in the midrange & upwards by rolling off the low bass... i didn't notice this before because i was playing acoustic & vocals tracks with no low bass, but when i tried nels76's bass CD i was surprised the low bass wasn't there... at first i thought the super triode amp couldn't deliver the low bass but when i switched to straight wire from CD player to amp, the low bass was there so yes folks the amp can certainly deliver it... so i figured this must be the sound character of my matsush1ta tubes?... or is it my interconnects?... i'm using cheap audio cables from my old car... not that i don't like this kind of sound, i actually like it for acoustic tracks because the sound clears up a good deal.
