Got news that Master Andrew will be releasing new amp next month.. el34, 6550 & 807 based amps... tapos will be wired in a new chassis design na pang export daw...

Mga Sir, ask ko lang po. What is the use of tube buffer? Does it in any way affect the sounds of a certain amp? What about the rectifier? What it means if it is tube rectified or ss rectified? How it affect the sounds of an amp? Thanks.

lumabas na po ang bagong chasis! ganda!

'yung familiar sa FASE amp, tipong ganon ang face plate... me window rin para sa LED. tapos meron din top plate sa area ng tubes na stainless steel... neat.

anduon na at naka-display sa phasetron. go check it out!

Having heard a "New / Better " system at home, When this happens, do you still enjoy listening to your stereo ?

as for me I dont, I no longer appreciate the sound of my system knowing that there is a better combination that would sound better....

i still enjoy my system... sinasabi ko na lang sa sarili ko: "mahal naman nyan!" hehehe

may advantage din yung mahina ang memory sa tunog... pero malakas ang memory sa presyo.

pero at least alam ko na ang susunod na target in case magkaroon ng budget.

Style mo.. room daw eh pre from Consonance CD player to 300B to RELsub grabe ka sa ganda... hehehehe.. kami cheap alternative lang..

Tube rectifiers are still used in power supplies of some guitar amps, because the current a tube rectifier can produce varies somewhat with the load. It is quite different in response from a solid-state rectifier. Many audiophiles also prefer this classic design for much the same reasons. Also, inexpensive solid-state rectifiers can put "hash" into a power supply, because of their slow transient capability while charging and recharging a filter capacitor 50/60 times a second. Special high-speed silicon rectifiers are available at high cost. They are rarely used in products other than a few high-end amplifiers. Tube rectifiers have faster transient response than most solid-state rectifiers, also making them useful in some high-end designs.
