when you turn it up louder, its limitations quicky become obvious, so it needs to be matched with super sensitive speakers.

it's just a 3 watter after all...

ako rin type ko yun EL84.... kung less than 10k ang price mukhang sulit yun for the sound it makes.... papalagyan ko ng headphone taps para mag-double duty siya as head amp.

Don Kimps sayang yun 96db Diatone speaker na nakita mo.... price less than 1k!!

Dapat pala sinuhulan ko nalang last saturday yung nagbabantay nung surplus shop sa toooooot (ahehehehehe) kahit doble yung price niya dun kukunin ko parin. ganda tumunog. the diatone that i saw was as big as a diamond 8.2 and was using paper cone drivers(mid 70s to early 80' na model). kaya siguro maganda rin yung bass niya. btw, akyat, i was a lot LPs in that shop ranging from 50 to 100 bucks

its a 96db bookshelf speaker, pre. i've also seen a diatone 2.5 or 3 way speaker ata yun somewhat larger than the epos 14 that has a freq. adjustment knob, dunno for sure whats' the purpose of the knob.

ano palagay niyo dito, all things considered like price, sound, etc.; AMX 3 watts el-84 amp + Wharfedale Pacific Evo 8 = 20K worth of Audio Nirvana. "Best Buy - Bang For The Buck" ba?

OT parang gusto kong iba-ba mamaya yung surrounds kong wharfs na bookshelf. Ahehehehehe
