yes its 2 different pairs...1 pair general electric and the other one national ata hehe. I got the amp for 30k. I just texted Andrew Sevilla and I think he's still in Singapore. A lot of people have been inquiring abt the amp so here are the details. Just email Andrew at
[email protected] or call phasetron coz the amp will depend on the specs of your speakers. You have to plan it with Andrew 1st. For me the original plan for my Tino home was monoblocks giving 100 watts but was way over my budget. I just told Andrew I need an amp that is dynamic coz of the music I play. I listen to every type of music and I cant be bias coz thats my work.. from drum and bass to deep jazzy house to standards to pop to hip hop to reggae name it I listen to it. So he told me bang for the buck 6550 power tubes in the tradition of Audio research....
Since some of you wanna audition it, by 1st or 2nd week of August Il be inviting you guys to my house to listen . I cant bring the amp out of the house any longer coz its so FRIGGIN heavy. I only had to carry the amp from my car to my room and now my back aches soo bad. Ill be urging you to bring material (lps and cds) so you'll have an idea how the amp sounds and for you to be able to do some extensive testing. Shootout pwede din, the more the merrier. Baka pwede din sa inyong may mag dala ng Cd player since I just use a uni player. Next in line pa lang ang CD player medyo malaki na nalabas ko and I think its not right this time to just buy buy buy. Kailangan to make sure b4 I buy which is what I do everytime I buy gears. I dont even have a phono pre just using a mixer for my TT hehehe. So nde pa talaga kumpleto im just taking my time and studying my options but I can already say that the amp is a winner and that Im happy. Here's a pic of the amp.....
