Basa ko madali daw pundi and El34. Di naman mga pre. I used a quad set for 5 years ok pa, it still works,kaya lang wala ng detail. Pero tunog pa!

OK yan... ur TT will sound MALAMBOT if connected to an AMX pre-amp.

mas lalong MALAMBOT na TT nyo pag gagamitan pa nyo ng AMX 300B power amp

Mga sir, sali po ako sa club kung OK lang sa inyo. I am now the proud owner of a contodo preamp (thanks to john5479). I changed the tubes as follows: RCA 5U4G as rectifier, RCA cleartops for the linestage, and telefunken 12AX7 for the phono stage. All I can say is....malupit!!! The sound is definitely good!!! Maganda ang phono stage. Likewise for the linestage, though I prefer to use the auxiliary inputs over the CD buffer. Congrats to Master Andrew for a well designed and well built preamp.
System I used: Rega Planar 3 TT with RB300 arm and Clearaudio Aurum Beta cart, Sony CDP-337ESD CD Player alternating with Exposure 2010 CDP, AMX Contodo Preamp, Dynaco ST70 (fully upgraded by Rene, using point to point wiring, NO PCB), and Epos ES14 speakers.
