AAmin na ako.... di akin yan Eico HF-87 meron lang mabait na member dito nagpahiram,
this amp is way out of my league di kaya ng budget ko yan..
with just 3 hours of listening this Eico all i can say is Pangit...

If your a vintage lover and do not own this remarkable amp.
tubes used are Siemens Quad EL34, Mullard 12ax7 & Tung-sol 6sn7 tube, SS rectified, i think only mod done is the front input (RCA), hiniwalay konti to give space for bigger plugs the speaker terminals are stock din.
The first thing you see when you check is the 3 huge transformers at the back, according to the owner they tried to open it up to check for leak and found then still kinda fresh no leaks that they concluded that the amp maybe stored and not used. then 4 big caps on the right side the owner told me he already replace one caps due to some leaks pero aside from that wla na..
Even for a few hours, i felt the presence and control instrument are played with delight and in playful tune. the dynamics, is unusual for a 35watter i believe its more than what is specifies reminded me of my Hafler..
Low levels the detail and clear warm sound are palpable unlike with other amp sometime a little thin.. switching to fast music will tempt you to increase the volume
Round up, Rock and Disco music is peanuts..

Control and presence galing!!
