yup when we stop dreaming - we have given up

ito na yun eh... bawasan na lang ng:
- 1 rectifier
- 2 driver tubes
- 2 volume pots
- 1 led power indicator
- wood trim
- rotary power switch - gawin na lang toggle sa likod ilagay
- flat black or silver yung taas ng chassis
- front gawin brushed aluminum

ayos na! - less than 15k na yun

P33,000 ba or P37,000 yung tag price sa upper right hand corner nung sign? Kaya yan for P15,000 without the tubes, Vince... Buy your own piece-meal as the money rolls in.

Ok Guys,

I got the message. You want power! KT88 is powerfull but is kinda expensive, perhaps the most expensive tetrode power tube today. The cheapest power pentode is the EL34 or 6L6GC, pushpull you can get max 40w per side, but the tubes are cheap about half the price of the KT88/6550. Driver tubes I suggest 9 pin types, there is plenty to choose from. Tube rectified, we can make that optional. For filter caps, to keep the price down we can use Rubicon and coupling caps mybe we can use " orange drops" . I will get back to you and see what figure i get. Basic power amp, black chassis, no volume controls, just 1 power switch, input sensitivity might be 2.8 volts, you will definetly need a preamp. So we will have 1 driver, 2 power tubes per channel, no negative feedback, optional tube rectifier. I guess this will be neat and simple. Till next posting, let me go to my drawing board, er my computer Tube CAd.

They say one cannot please everybody, but there is no harm in trying. With regards to the PP AMX amp project model 15k, I guess i can be flexible. I can come up with two colors silver or black chassis, brushed aluminum panel, silver or black that would be no problem. As for the power tubes it can be either El34 or KT88 with some minor changes under chassis, ie change of cathode bias resistor. Price target will change a bit with the KT88 driving it higher. But if you are buying it without tubes, price will be the same.
I am hurrying up my accountant so I can declare to you the price. But mind you it will look good but this is a strip model, less the bells and whistles. I am building the prototype after completing my design this week. I hope I can meet the price target you have set, for a minimum run of 10 units. Wish me luck
