just bring over the NAD and we will try them. Hindi pa for sale kasi understudy pa if there is a demand. Kasi i want to be sure may demand for this product. And I want to find out how much people are willing to pay for a gizmo like this. It can take COAX or Optical input. It has two sets of output, one direct SS output and another via "tube converter."

Will it be ready for audition sometime December?  ;D ;D ;D

Sonatina uses EL84, push pull 15 watts per channel and the El34/6L6GC Minima has twice the power of 30 watts per channel. The Minima 6L6GC has a newer version, Class A push pull auto Bias 3 tubes per channel also 30 watts per channel. This has excellent sonics a fast dynamics. Price is also very low for the kind of performance it delivers

This is the 6L^GC Minima. The design is minimalist in philosophy. Limited number of stages to preserve sonic purity.

Sana high output din tulad nung LAMM amp na nasa hi-fi show. . . para kaya all types of music.  The LAMM I think goes to at least 90wpc in PP configuration.

Or this 18wpc Almarro amp. . with tube cage and remote control. . .and more power. . .

True power output of SE 6C33CB is only 15 watts rms per channel, and push pull is about 50 watts per channel only.

thanks , I was curious at the pre-amp section. from what I understand tubes amps requires  a driver tube and the pre-amp also requires a small tube. In some of your designs like the Sonatina, I see only a pair of small tubes..are these for the pre-amp section ?

It will depend on the circuit design. Some use high gain tubes and minimum or no negative feed back. When such design is used a CD player with output level between 500milli volts to 2000 milli volts will be more than enough to drive the amp to full power output. Such is the case with EL84. Now some amps that use low gain tubes and hard to drive power triodes will almost always need a preamp.

I brought my NAD and tried your DAC using RCA. Everything seems to bloom not in a distorted way but the instrument became more obvious. Nice job!!!

The 6C33C Se amp is under construction 15 watts nominal and 18 watts if you want to squeeze out the tube. I will post this here forst. The 211 mono block  left for the US today, but we can build on orders.

That's great...however, my speakers have similar specs to Sonus Fabers, rated around 89db at 4ohms...

Same here...maybe a 90-watter would do the trick...similar to the BAT VK-75SE, using 4 x devil tubes, 6 x 6SL7 octals, 2 x 6V6 and 2 x 6H30, Thanks!

Design simulations on my software gives about 50 watts output RMS. The thing is, it has very low output impedance unlike other tubes. this gives it a lot of drive to overcome loudspeaker reactances. Have you heard of SV572-3 power triodes? A pair of that tube in push pull config can deliver over 100 watts RMS. Maybe that is what is more apt to this low efficiency speakers. SV572 triodes are made Svetlana WInged C and much touted by Eric Barbour. But remember that all low efficiency loudspeakers suffer from power compression. The more power you drive it with, the hotter the voice coil gets, ergo increase in impedance follows, then lower current into the voice coil which translates to lower power to the loudspeaker thus weaker output. FYI
