Bro, the movie itself is very good & the DVD should be fine being a Fox release.

i own one. di ako ang best source for reviewing tech specifications pero matino naman ung kopya sa dvd upscaling player (unlike that other matthew vaughn flick na viva release -- kick-ass -- which was a really atrocious transfer!)

merong nagiisang featurette (i think the R1 version boasts of 2 or 3?) and a handful of  deleted/extended scenes.

for its 375 price, di naman harang... best of all ay ok naman ang replay value nung movie eh  ;)

hope this helps!  :D

kasi sir I have all the x-men movies even the origins of wolverine wala po akong masabi parang R1 po sila and lahat po sila binili ko locally, may mga doubts po kasi ako kahit na 375 na lang po sya! baka madissapoint po ako! ano nga po pala yung special feature nya? and how bout subtitle ok naman po ba? and yung menu po di po ba mukang sparrow kasi may nabili po akong movie by VIVA po yata yun yung blade 1 sobrang na disappoint po ako ang sama ng itsura ng menu low quality picture ang ginamit sa menu... thanks

special feature: band of brothers (cast and crew interviews ito) then 13 deleted/extended scenes

ganito na lang para madali --- kung ang point of comparison mo ay ung dating xmen quadrology, mejo a step lower (pero passable) itong release na ito -- if not for the lacking 1 or 2 more featurettes sa r1 release and the non-animated GUI.

pero definitely, miles and miles away naman compared to the garbage that viva churned out for my personal favorites like kick ass, taken, red cliff, slumdog millionaire (and the list can go on and on...)

if you're pertaining to the print on the disc itself, ok naman. kung sa dvd cover, sadly, typically viva na hindi pulido :(

Even if it's a Viva release, as long as it's 20th Century Fox or Disney, we can be assured that the picture and audio qualities will be the same as its R1 counterpart.  Siyempre, nagkakatalo na lang sa features at packaging.

You may want to refer to this post of Sir Techdude for tips in spotting Viva releases to avoid.
