Samsung BD-D5500.... any reviews?
« on: Mar 24, 2012 at 11:09 PM »
This is the unit now being offered by Samsung in their promos.  Are there any reviews for this, as well as compared to the previous BD-D5100 other than 3D capability?

Up...

Also interested in this unit.
Any reviews from the users here? :)

Could it play 3D iso files, 3D/high def mkv's, FLAC files flawlessly?
Any issues...?

Thanks ;D

What does cinavia do or prevent?  Does it mean BD disks with no watermark won't be played on players w/o cinavia installed on the player?

I think the 5100 also has a firmware update that puts in Cinavia.

just get an LG. non of there current players have cinavia. They had problems implementing it on the BD 560, in which it miss read disk and disabling disk that didnt have cinavia. its was later removed from the player with an update.
